Do not recommend — also charged me double than advertised $ 20 and the reading seemed generic.

My coworker and I were out and about in Downtown Evanston checking out the sidewalk sales when we saw a sign for $ 10 tarot readings. Now, I obviously know these people are shams, but was thinking it would be a fun thing to do anyways. First off they basically put you in a closet with no ac and clouds painted on the walls. I thought I was in for some Texas Chainsaw adventures in there. This woman tried to tell me I had bad karma and would never be happy. I thought so much for some light-​hearted fun! She went on and on for about 20 minutes with a very generic reading that was completely threatening in tone. She insisted I come back and pay her to remove my bad karma. I politely told her I just wanted to leave. She then claimed she did not have change and wanted me to just give her the money I had which was twice the amount of money. After looking her up online I found out she swindled a poor old lady out of $ 40,000 claiming she needed to remove a hex or risk losing her family. Typical gypsy sorcery! If you are looking for something new age and fun DO NOT set foot in this establishment.
