I consider myself a massage guru… to a certain extent. With my Asian cultural background I’ve had experience with massages earlier than most people would… probably starting in middle school. And with the stress of college and the neck/back tenderness resulted from sitting at my desk for too long, I seek out massage therapy every once in a while whenever my budget permits. Going to a massage therapy session is always something I can look forward to weeks in advance. But although most of them did do some good, few truly makes me want to come back. And that’s what makes Theresa stands out. For reasons I don’t know my tender points seem to be in weird areas as it appears that most therapists just can’t hit them even with my feedback. As a result I often leave a massage feeling better but still not satisfied. However, Theresa has this natural talent of feeling things. She accurately hit my tender points within a few moments of touching and effectively treat them with a mixture of light and deep pressures. I’m so grateful that I can keep silent during the massage most of the time(not a super talkative person) while having my problems solved. What’s more, Theresa is very friendly — she will not hesitate in giving you advices on how to reduce muscle tension in the future, and she gives a full 75-min massage instead of 60-min as a lot of other therapists do. Although my school has massage therapy service at a cheaper rate I’ve already decided to work with her on a regular basis because of this very positive visit. 100% recommending her to anyone interested in getting a massage!
