Highly impressed with this store. I do massage and often recommend clients come here to find more natural remedies. The biggest reason to come here is that the staff is so helpful. They are amazingly educated and can truly guide you to the right product.

As a chiropractor, I write many prescriptions for botanicals. For instance, when I learn that a patient has been self-medicating with ibuprofen, I might prescribe milk thistle extract, which helps the liver to recover from toxicity. But because I don’t prescribe the same substances to all of my patients, it would make no sense for me to stock them in my clinic – I couldn’t possibly keep them all fresh. That’s where Walsh Natural Health comes in. Milk thistle, vitamins, minerals – they’ve got it all, and in a convenient uptown location to boot. There is a plethora of alternative botanical apothecaries, but Walsh has an established reputation that I can trust for my patients.

I love that this store has a nice selection of Klean Kanteen aluminum water bottles! It’s nice that there’s a local shop to find the bottles because I don’t have to pay for shipping and sometimes think of it last-minute(either for myself or for a gift). So far it’s been the only thing I’ve needed from the store as I have another source for most of my supplements. They do have a few things for your pet too. The 15% off coupon they put in your bag for your next visit is also a bonus.

I’ve been looking for an alternative to Whole Foods and a way to support a local business. I, too, wish they had more food products. There’s enough to start you detoxing your outside and inside here though!

A great little store that carries natural supplements, homeopathic medicine and some natural cosmetics. Personally, I’d find my needs better met at the ‘Ethical Planet’ on Davis(which seems to aim at all ages, and sells a larger variety of vegan products including food, whereas 90% of Walsh’s products seem to come in pill form), but this is a great store for alternative medical products.
