Just in case no other review has mentioned this, Aihua is a combination grocery and restaurant. The grocery is great. It sells ethnic groceries including, as far as I can tell, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Middle Eastern and Mexican. My wife and I love to try to make foods from around the world, and this grocery provides what I gather to be authentic foods. They sell a good variety of fresh vegetables, seafoods and meats, making it a great place to shop if our recipe calls for something that might not be on the shelves at the other local groceries. Other reviewers have said that the staff are rude. As far as I can tell, it’s the owners’ family, and the only problem is a language barrier. Evansville is lucky to have this grocery store. One interesting thing is that they don’t accept credit cards for purchases under $ 10.00. I’ve come in lower than that a few times, so it’s fun to buy a snack made elsewhere in the world just to hit the threshold.

Hard-to-come-by groceries in the middle of meat and potato land! I was beyond excited to find Aihua’s a midst all the processed food grocery stores that have an oriental food section consisting of Chow Mein noodles and soy sauce! This place is a candy store for those of you looking for anything from the continent of Asia, plus much more! Aisles and aisles of frozen seafood, noodles, sauces, spices and way more! My personal favorite is the selection of vegetables, both common and rare, at incredibly affordable prices. The shelves are always stocked and the quality is always good! The only downside is the customer service. Not too friendly, but with prices and selection like this, who cares! Every time we come to Evansville we stop for the essentials. This is a foodie’s paradise! I would highly recommend it!

This is pretty decent sized asian market; Has Latin, Indian, and Asian items, fresh produce and many dry goods. Best of all, it has everything I need to make my mango bubble tea! Has fresh fish and lobster in a side area.

If you’re a foodie like me, then Aihua is the place to be. They have a decent selection of Asian, Indian, Mexican, Russian, and Middle Eastern foods(hey, this is Evansville, Indiana). If you’re looking for different herbs and spices, speciality items, or maybe some exotic fruits and veggies, then you’ll probably find it here. This is the only place where I could buy saffron for my Spanish Paella.

This is a really fun place to shop, and they have a large selection(very large for Evansville!) of international groceries. The produce section has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, many of which I’ve never seen before, and really good prices on herbs and chile peppers. They also carry seafood, including fish and crabs. If you’re looking for specialty items for a recipe that you can’t find at the local groceries, you can probably find it here! The place can get pretty busy on the weekends, but the employees are fast and friendly, and keep the lines moving fairly quickly.
