We had a very bad experience at what is now Fetch on Franklin. We were called halfway through the groom stating that our dog «started acting funny» and was unable to breathe or walk. The groomer told me that her tongue was swollen and purple. I rushed to pick her up and immediately took her to the vet. She literally could not breathe and the front of her neck was swollen to 3x the normal size. The vet ran loads of tests on her (x-​rays, blood work, etc.) and the only thing they could not rule out was neck trauma/​strangulation (2 different vets– regular vet and ER vet both reported the same findings). This groomer has admitted our dog was fine when she came, which is evidenced by the fact that she was able to do half the groom. She has taken absolutely NO responsibility for what happened and we were left with a bill for $ 1200. Thank goodness our dog is okay now, but she almost didn’t make it. I absolutely would not want this to happen to anyone else.
