I went to this store twice, to pick out bridesmaids’ dresses and to shop with my mom for her mother-of-the-bride dress, and the service was pretty bad both times. When I went the first time for the bridesmaid dresses, a couple weeks ago, I had made an appointment but they didn’t have anyone scheduled to help me. The girl at the front desk told me to go ahead and look around, and let her know if I had any questions. Luckily, I had already looked at dresses online and knew what I was looking for. After I found the dresses I wanted, I let her know, and she took down my information and said she would put the dresses in the system so that my bridesmaids could go to their closest store and find them. The next day I got an email from David’s asking me to reschedule my appointment, so evidently the store never checked their system or checked me in or anything. Today I got a text from one of my girls that the store in her city didn’t find any dresses under my name in the system — so this store never put the info into the computer. The second time I went, last weekend to shop with my mom, we walked in and found a couple of dresses that my mom wanted to try on. We went to the front desk and asked if we could get a dressing room. The girl at the desk said she couldn’t let us in but would get the girl who could. She said something into a walkie talkie, then ignored us for the next 10 minutes while nothing happened. We were about to walk out when someone who I think was the manager noticed we were still waiting and brought us to a room, saying she’d send the consultant over right away. After my mom had tried both dresses on we still hadn’t seen or heard from anyone, so we just left. Basically, everyone at this store is just terrible at their job.

I made an appointment at David’s Bridal hoping to walk out with the perfect dress because my wedding is in 20 days. I left this store with my head spinning. I found the perfect dress and accessories to go with it! My shopping experience was wonderful. My consultant Jamie was extremely helpful and attentive. I went dress shopping alone and felt awkward but she was so sweet and had very good taste. I was about to settle for a tea length gown that looked great on me and she suggested that I try an Oleg Cassini that was the same style and length. As soon as I saw myself in the dress I just knew that it was«the one». It was very quick and easy to do the 6 months no interest financing for everything I needed. I’m so happy about my purchase at David’s Bridal I can’t stop smiling.

I always encountered extremely friendly salespeople & consultants with every trip I made to David’s Bridal. My personal consultant even pointed out, when I unexpectedly liked bridesmaids’ dresses on my girls that I didn’t like when I saw them online, that I had done the same with my own dress. I didn’t like it on the hanger, but I fell in love once I had it on. This was 3 – 4 months after I had ordered my dress. She was so astute! I had to exchange my dress for a smaller size closer to the wedding(hooray!) and I also made a return for a veil I ended up not liking, and both transactions went very smoothly. The alterations department was also friendly and helpful both times that I went. I think the façade and perhaps some of the interior of the store could use an upgrade, but obviously this isn’t in the hands of any of the store employees. Other than that, rave reviews. I won’t ever be needing another wedding dress, but I will certainly look forward to accompanying friends & family there in the future if the occasion ever arises!
