I feel like this Drury location has gone downhill quite a bit. I began staying here regularly for work three years ago and it used to be my first choice in this area. Now I try to stay elsewhere. There is a large ash tray in front of the main entrance and people stand directly in front of the door and smoke. Every time I walked in or out of the main door I was walking through a cloud of smoke. Sometimes people were smoking on both sides of the door. The smoke drifted inside into the lobby when the doors were opened. The trash bins in the breakfast area were dirty and everything just looked like it needed to be wiped down. Some of the clients in the breakfast line weren’t really wearing proper attire, although there was a sign posted stating that proper attire was required. Construction workers wearing dirty jackets, one literally had mud on the coat sleeves while he was serving himself eggs and potatoes. Other guests looked like they had just rolled out of bed, wearing pajamas and slippers. Sorry but it doesn’t make for a pleasant breakfast experience. It was noisy too so not really a desirable place to stay any longer.

We LOVE our Drury hotels! We stay at them when ever we can find one. We have stayed at this one now 3 times of the past years for sporting events. As others reviewed it is very busy but that’s to be expected with sports teams in and out of there all the time. Nice size rooms, comfortable, and clean. You cant beat the price, Bring your family and get a hot breakfast, pay for your lunch out, then come back and they have a appetizer buffet that we usually equal out to a light dinner. Staff overall are professional and aim to please.

Our kids have been going to USI for 3 years and we always have stayed here at least 3 times a year. It started off as a GREAT hotel and has went down hill the last 2 visits. Talked to the staff and apparently they have new management. PROs Breakfast is good Cons staff not overly friendly and a loud hotel. Much better places to stay.

Positives: The staff are very nice, rooms are clean, and up to date. Very good price. Breakfast is okay. Late afternoon free snacks, chili-dogs, etc. was more tasty. Nice location. Drawbacks: It is pet friendly so we had to listen these little dogs yap half the night. They have wall shampoo, etc. dispensers, and no hand /body lotion. They do have a frig and microwave, but you can’t adjust the temperature of the fridge without sneaking behind the TV table.

Overall nice hotel just it seems like it is always crowded. If you can’t handle the crowds this is not the place to go. With all this said the breakfast is pretty good

Have stayed here many times on business trips. Pros include he hot breakfast and the snacks and drinks in the evening. My room had a nice TV, fridge, and microwave. Walking distance from Golden Corral, O’Charley’s, and a Japanese Steak House. Lot’s of shopping. My only complaint is that the two rooms I stayed in were fairly loud. May have just been the neighbors, but it didn’t seem as quiet as other locations.

WACK. Went with parents and was excited to have my own room like they said. It was advertised wrong and no don’t question the reading abilities. They said 2 room suite, 2 beds. We got 1 bed, 1 uncomfortable pull out bed from the ass of the living room couch. Luckily I am not picking about sleeping comfort because I could fall asleep on rocks and I would be fine. No silence between walls so great thing Evansville, IN is not the honey-moon destination or that could of been awkward with the family. Pool and jacuzzi was your typical indoor dirty kids piss fest. Gym was two treadmills and a bike. at least they had them, true. PROS: free breakfast and free dinner. Breakfast was not bad actually with cereal, waffles, french toast, eggs, etc. Dinner never got to experience so no comment. Holla at joemiddie

We stayed at the Drury Inn for a friend’s wedding weekend. Not familiar with the area we simply went with the hotel suggestion that came with the wedding invite. We were actually very happy with our stay! The hotel was quite clean, it was a convenient location, the staff friendly, and there were many nice«extra» services including free wifi, free evening beverages, free hot breakfast, and fairly recently redone rooms. My biggest grumblings were the noise from the plumbing of surrounding rooms, we were in a corner room so we may have been near a service area and the hot breakfast being not at all gluten-free friendly(but that’s not surprising). Overall, one of the better recent hotel experiences I have had. No real complaints!
