This place is always really good. It’s not fancy at all, but has good homestyle food at a great price.

Great home cooked type food. Reasonably priced and everything is made from scratch. REAL mashed potatoes. Three or four lunch specials daily. Includes two sides from a pretty long list and choice of biscuit or cornbread. One of the choices is always smoked pork chop. Chicken & dumplings (I think is Tuesdays) is delicious and they have the best fried chicken (Thursdays) in town. Friday’s salmon patties and fried catfish can’t be beat. Fast friendly service.

I recently ate at Libby and Mom’s at the urging of a relative. Our family enjoyed our meal but there were not enough servers for the busy dining room. There was only one server and while she was busy, there were simply too many people to wait on and process payments. We had various breakfast items including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs and toast.
The biscuits were not fresh and were hot from a microwave. They seemed to be the pre-​package variety available at Sam’s or something similar to that. They were a disappointment. The scrambled eggs were cooked properly and the bacon was flavorful. The pancakes appeared to be overcooked somewhat.
Libby and Mom’s is a typical family restaurant with plain furnishings, decent but not great food and reasonable prices. I’ve definitively had better food and service but it was okay for what it was.
