I have only been here once and it was terrible. The shwarma tasted like it had pico on it and the falafel was so dry I could hardly swallow one bite. Maybe my experience was a fluke but we WILLNOTANDHAVENOT been back. The service was super slow, the ambiance, if you would call it that, was terrible, and they workers didn’t care that I had been waiting for a half an hour for my food. I don’t understand all these good reviews, especially when the only time the have cars in the lot is a lunch.

Went in today to get a gyro, and got accused of stealing out of the tip jar by the owner… I’m a server at Old Chicago and wouldn’t do that… Will never go back to that place which i like… Or used to… He talked to me like a piece of TRASH !!!

Modest looks from outside but decent Mediterranean food. Falafel and chicken shawarma sandwiches were yummy

This restaurant is really good and has a drive through which is cool. I’m from California but I will miss this place when I go back.

I wish I could eat here more often but we live so far away. I had the vegetarian platter and my husband had the gyro platter. Both were excellent and I can ask for nothing more. They gave us service with a smile and delicious food. So glad we found you on our Christmas road trip.

This is a jewel in Evansville. Not located next to the franchises, but in a nice neighborhood. It’s clean and charming. The food is fabulous. We have eaten gyros in Mykonos, Greece; these gyros are every bit as good! Support local business owners! Eat great food!

Great little Mediterranean place. Everything comes out fresh and delicious from the falafel to the hummus.

Had lunch there yesterday. Had the gyro and hummus. I was pleasantly surprised, saw the cook behind the counter shaving the lamb and it was delicious. The hummus was ok and the portion was larger than the pita served with it. But all in all very good, will be back to order other items off the menu.

Amazing food, really clean, the owner runs the extra mile, you’ll be greeted with a smile and enjoy a nice quiet environment and amazing food, I tried the humos with the falafel and tabouli and the food was simply delicious

My wife and I were hungry to try something new in our community to eat. We stopped in and we were very impressed with our experience. Great food, good service. We will be going to visit in the near future.

As far as evansville goes its slim pickings on Mediterranean food. That being said Manna grill has by far the best gyros in the area. Get the combo with falafel and a drink for $ 8. Hard to beat the food or the price.

Ate there last week when I was in town. 1st time in two years. It is still great. Had the vegetarian platter with tabouleh salad, perfection. The falafels, the Baba ganush, the hummus and the stuffed grape leaves were all exceptional.

Excellent tasting food, but, was pricey. Food had quality of moderately priced restaurant, though clean had appearance of hole in the wall diner, and prices should have been as such. I had a combo and it came to $ 16 for one person

My family is Lebanese, so we have had many different types of Mediterranean food from different places and our own recipes. I recently found this place, and I’ve already eaten there twice. It was delicious and they had a variety of choices.

The place was clean… Very friendly. The food. Chicken Sharwama overcooked very dry. Lamb kabob overcooked .The portion size small for $ 12.99. Rice was cooked properly. The sauce was very bland… Kids chicken tenders where terrible.

This is a very good fast food joint for those of us that like ethnic food with lots of flavors. The items that we tried were all fresh, and made to order. We ate during lunch and we had a falafel sandwich and a chicken Shawarma sandwich both combos came with a side(fries, or hummus, or two falafel) and a drink, plus in the end we top it all with a baklava that we shared for dessert. We’ll be back. Manna is specially recommended for those people who enjoy trying out non traditional fare.

Stumbled onto Manna when lost in Evansville on the way to the Kentucky Derby. Had Beef Kafta with tabbouli and rice. Very tasty. I make tabbouli and(not that this is necessarily a compliment) Manna’s was as close to mine as I have ever had. Girlfriend had chicken kabob and was not particularly impressed, but I am partial to Mediterranean food to begin with and she was being a good sport. They do have password-protected free wi-fi, which was quite handy while we figured out where we were.
