U-Haul Moving & Storage of Evansville

I hate to do a three star review because the guys working there were nice.
First off I called to see what size lock I needed because I didn’t care to buy one at U-​Haul. Guy who answered told me any standard lock should do. I get there and am told I need one of those round U-Haul.l ones that they sell. It was cheaper than the one i went out and bought but still would have been nice if that guy told me.
Took a pretty long time to set me up. Wanted a bunch of information like address and phone number for reference. Never had that with another storage place. Couldn’t skip it so I just made it up and they didn’t check. It would have been nice if I could have just done that over the computer and more of U-​Haul corporate’s fault that these guys.
Also they couldn’t get my key card to work. I just left without one. I doubt I would have came after hours but annoying that it seemed they had such a hard time getting their computers to do things that were company related.
Its storage, its nothing special. I don’t have anything great to say about them either. The people who worked there were nice, I’d give them 4 stars, everything else was just ok.

The fellows working in this office were a big help to us. We had scheduled a truck for a cross country move with Budget down the street. There was an «error» with our rental and they did not have the truck and the man working in that office had simply no advice and was basically hurrying us out of the office truckless. We went into this Uhaul office down the street to see if they had availability. They did not initially, but went out of their way to help us work something out (they rearranged their current reservations so we could take a truck off their lot that day). I haven’t always been happy with Uhaul as a company, but this specific locations employees were very helpful!
