Everything was fresh and made with love. We had the mole, burrito, and tacos. If we lived closer we’d be back often.

Very poor service! We ordered three sandwitches and asked for two drinks and a water, the drinks made it not the water. Three times that we went to the register and asked for a water and still left the place with no water. I also ordered an extra meal to go that was left wrapped on the counter and we had to go pick it up. We finished our meal and waited, waited then had to go pickup our to go boxes. Very embarrassing to take friends there, I don’t recommend for a date and friends get together. No help with menu even if you ask. The one person at the register is rude and lazy the least. Never going back. plenty of Mexican food where I feel welcomed. This place is not one of them.

I will not use the word«authentic» because it has no meaning anyway. Just because I’m American doesn’t mean everything I make is «authentic American». The family that runs Cemitas Tepeaca are from Puebla Mexico. If you know what kind of food they eat in Puebla then this is your place. A Cemita is a type of sandwich that originates in the Puebla area. Tepeaca is a town about 20 miles south of Puebla. So having said that don’t go here for Burritos since Burritos are American food. Yes, they’ll make you one because the white pasty folks keep requesting them. However, if you want to get a first hand experience of what Puebla is like have a Cemita which is their version of a Torta but on a sesame seed brioche roll. On occasion you may even convince them to make Chies en Nagoda for you which I highly recommend. If they had it all the time I’d be here once a week. You can count on there being Mole Poblano(Poblano, Puebla… get it?) being offered and several other dishes. This place is always quiet outside of a few kids running around and the TV running. I don’t know how they stay in business but they seem to make it. I wish they had more dishes specific to Puebla and fewer specific to Texas to be honest. We have enough burritos shops already.

The women who takes your orders is really nice but the place in general is incredibly unprofessional. The kitchen is dirty and the food is over priced. There is almost never anyone in there(employees or customers) and you have to ring a bell to get any service otherwise you could just stand at the register for an hour and nobody would ever notice you were there. I have no idea how this place stays in business.

I got the lunch special which was yummy but different tacos. These are not your typical street tacos with meat onions and cilantro these are meat with a slice of avocado and a slice of a white soft wet cheese then with a spicy green salsa served on the side. These were better then your typical street taco.(true tacos al pastor excluded) The service is OK and there is a TV blaring a childrens show in spanigh on made me feel as if I was in Mexico.

Not your normal Mexican joint. Different food options. I had the carne tacos, and they have been the best that I have had so far, my girlfriend had one of their sandwiches and it was bigger then expected and very tasty. The employees were friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food. I will definitely go back.

Very good food and friendly folks. This is not your typical mexican fare. When we first walked in and looked at the menu, we saw dishes that we had never heard of. the staff explained the different offerings and we selected two excellent meals. We will be back…

Went here for a change. Very good food and they give you a lot. Prices are moderate and the lady at the counter is friendly. Seems to be run by a family and they look as though they are genuinely trying to make good food. Give them a try if you want some good filling meals.

We decided to stop in after a stressful trip to Wal-Mart. The food was so very authentic, and the service was friendly. I ordered a chicken burrito and my son ordered chicken tacos. I wasn’t disappointed — so much better than anything I’ve ever consumed at Spazteca, and a LOT cheaper, too. If you are even in the area, try this place.

I think this is probably the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in the Seattle area. Being from Mexico I am always looking to eat what I used to eat back home, and this place reminds me of it, a lot. But what is really special about it, is that«home made» taste and the feeling of being in Mexico for half hour, eating in a small restaurant in the corner of my neighborhood. I have the feeling that the owners are people who just arrived to the US, and the cooking style is still intact. I’ve noticed that many times even if the owners/cooks are first generation(Mexicans in the US), but if they have been here for 10 or 15 years. It’s not the same flavor anymore. The place is simple, you won’t see hanging sombreros, flowers and that kind of cheesy decoration that you see in the typical Mexican-American restaurant.(And if there was, I didn’t see it) The only thing is missing is the nice weather outside the place, everything else is good.
