We had my son’s birthday party today, and it was a hit! The kids(of different interests, genders, age levels(between 5 and 10) were super engaged and having fun! Not only did the kids have a great time, but they were actually working together in teams, using tons of creativity and problem solving(all in a party fun way). They worked hard building their forts(she had awesome materials for them to use that I wouldn’t have thought of) then they had a blast capping it all off with their marshmallow catapults and launchers(they also burned good energy right before cake chasing each other around outside with their mini catapults. Thanks so much Tamara!

This is a very good youth resource that both I believe an academic institution, parents and child care facilitators can utilize to keep kids productive on a fashion that encompasses learning in a sort of PE’ish way so it’s not a boredom fest for the youth. The organization, coordination and accessibility for communication is relatively transparent. Also, do not be alarmed by the name as it is not an actual geographical island in the Snohomish County area that we don’t know about. The first time I tried finding this place, I ended up on NBC’s Survivor. Overall, as an educator, I would recommend this resource and keep in mind everybody’s experience should be different as they really cater to customize.
