Had a boat engine cover and seat that were in pretty rough shape. The boat is a 1995, and is worth about six grand, so I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money getting the parts reupholstered. I got quotes from several upholstery shops in the area, and they were all about double what «low overhead Bob» was quoting. I was skeptical at first. Don’t be! I just got the parts back, and they look awesome. There is one minor wrinkle on the part, but it’s in a very difficult area and isn’t visible really with the cover closed. Better than the factory did. I would say I paid 40% of the price other guys were charging for the job, and it looks 95% as good as what the other guys would have done. I’m quite happy.
Know going in to it that he may be later than your original estimate, but if you’re looking for the low cost but still pretty good quality option, it’s totally worth the wait.
