Dr Joon knows his field and I will be looking forward to my next clean bill of health from him and his professional staff.

Save yourself a lot of headache and money and go somewhere else. The girl that handles the billing is very rude and unwilling to help. They even double collected from our insurance company until we called them on it. We were told we would be reimbursed the money we paid out of pocket once our insurance company paid but it’s been months and we still haven’t received full reimbursement. We have written it off as a lost but at least I warned you of these crooks.

I’ve worked in different types and sizes of medical billing offices, and this clinic is the only one that expects patients, some who are elderly, to understand everything about their own insurance… OR they get mad when another clinic doesn’t submit every detail of insurance coverage beyond member ID’s to them. The clinic doesn’t verify whether someone has insurance– just relies on a card that could be outdated. If you don’t understand your insurance, they’ll turn you away the day of your visit instead of quick online keystrokes to verify your coverage. If Medicare denies a claim, saying to bill an Advantage plan you forgot you’d gotten, YOU get billed. If they bill a prescription plan instead of billing your medical coverage and get denied(duh), YOU get billed. You may as well do the job for them. To avoid headaches, don’t go here. The quality of care doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with financial crap. On the other hand, if you know allll your insurance details and are certain you’ll never have surprises, well. go for it. Just don’t trust the clinic’s bills unless you verify them with your insurance company first.
