I always wanted to scuba dive but never had the right time to do it. My brother was going to a vacation, and planned to certify before his trip, so I tagged along. Evergreen Dive Service was the first place we went to. We talked to Chad and Tim, we decided to get certified through them. They were very knowledgeable, honest, and helpful, which made the course easy and fun. They have the best equipment(Aqualung, Scuba pro, and dry suits) which are a big plus in the frigid Puget Sound waters. After getting my Open Water certification, I am currently continuing on to the advanced courses which are inexpensive, and the helpful dive masters(Jackie, Ryan, Trevor) are always teaching me something new. I like a good deal and was opting to buy my beginners gear from Craigslist. After looking around and comparing prices online and local shops, I bought everything from them. They truly treat you like family, and back their words with actions. You’re the best guys!

Friendly staff. Good selection. Hard to find a nice local dive shop anymore. This is a good one.

I’ve been to many dive shops in Washington over the past 25yrs and this is by far the best! It’s not like a big box flashy shop, these guys care and know exactly what they are doing. Prices are competitive and very friendly staff. I will go back to them for any service or equipment in the future. Thanks Chad and Tim!

I just recently got certified again through this shop. I was certified through NAUI back in the 70s and it was time to start diving again. One great thing about training here is that all the classes are done in dry suits, a big advantage in Puget Sound temperatures. The instructors were all personable and knowledgeable; the shop staff know their stuff; and they have a good selection of gear, especially for such a small store.
