i made my first visit to Phở Ever today. Unfortunately the only impression it left is the clove aftertaste on my tongue. I ordered a large size beef noodle soup with brisket and rare steak. My rare steak was already cooked, the broth was very meaty flavored, but had a strong clove taste i didnt find tastee at all. It overpowered the subtle flavors you get from boiled beef broth, The place was empty at 10:30 am as i would expect and the service i received showed that. the service was good, my water glass was always full, the veggie additions they give were fresh and plentiful for one, the restaurant itself was clean and comfy. overall i am not too satisfied with phở ever or it might just be the one dish i had. I will most likely return to see if the chicken noodle soup saves the day for this place.
