During the lunch rush, it is crowded. The service is ok but you can clearly hear the cook yelling and screaming at the back. Since I am Vietnamese, I can understand what they are talking about. The waitress was telling that there is a mouse running around the kitchen and asked if the owner called the services to get rid of them yet. I was horrify. I left money on the table and left right away.

It was much better this time. Lots of stuff in the bowl and lots of fixings. Broth was much stronger and tastier, and not dishwatery. Service was quick and the condiment rack had choices! So although condiments won’t save the farm, it can help a little bit. Maybe save the baby sheep and the fainting goats and stuff.

I’ve been to Phở Hiho twice already. Usually, at every phở place I go to, I order the large phở since I like to stuff myself with the delicious soup. I did this on my first visit and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could not finish the phở and had enough leftover, after being satiated, to take home and have later. On my second visit, I decided to give the large bowl another go since I wondered if I it was a fluke that I didn’t finish it the first time. Once again, the bowl was too much for me to handle in one sitting and I had to bring some home with me. The phở at this establishment is really good. The broth is savory as it should be, but as important to me; the proportions are just right. It has happened to ma a lot that I go to a phở place and find myself finished with all the noodles and meat only to be left with half or a third of a bowl of only broth. At Phở Hiho this was not the case. I found that the portions of noodles and meat are just right so that you have an awesome bowl of goodness.

My favorite phở in town! I can’t speak to the other dishes, but that phở is just fantastic! Not nearly as oily as most other places, nice thin noodles and plenty of meat. Outside of the food itself, the place is just as clean as you’d want it. The sauce bottles are clean, the tables and seats are well taken care of, the bathrooms… all in great shape. It’s a restaurant I feel good about bringing my family and friends to

I’ve been to PhoHiho many times! This is my go to place for this yummy soup! The broth is amazing! Very flavorful! At most phở places I have to add a ton of sauce to make it have any flavor but not here! I usually get P2 and have never been disappointed. My hubby never liked Phở until he had phở hiho now he’s hooked!

Huge phở for pretty cheap. Food is edible but I’ve definitely had better. Convenient for a quick lunch when working in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. They can seat groups of about 6 – 8 pretty easily, but above that would be a struggle.

Not too shabby, first time in and I’m impressed. I had the large phở, with all the animal parts. It’s hot and almost too much to consume in one sitting!

I think the establishment is Korean owned. Which is amazing cuz the phở is pretty delicious. It’s not as consistent as home, and my phở was a little salty today but overall they deliver better than many.

I had a rocky start at Phở Hiho — when I entered this casual dining establishment, although there was one table occupied, there were no servers. So my group decided to seat ourselves, then I grabbed and brought menu for our table. But soon, a waitress came in from outside after what looked like helping another customer load his car with pre-ordered food, and came straight to our table to greet and serve us. Throughout the whole meal, she was nice, friendly and attentive, and by the time I was leaving this place, I couldn’t care less about the rocky start. One of the major reasons it was so easy for me to overlook my awkward start with this place, is definitely and most importantly their delicious food. I tried Phở Chay(vegetarian rice noodle soup) and Shrimp vermicelli bowl. Their vegetables were fresh and the broth was tasty with the right amount of salt. The portion was more than generous and was pleased to see a good variety of veggies in Phở Chay. The Shrimp bowl also had the right balance between the veggies and noodles, while the sauce was tasty. The spring rolls that came with the shrimp bowl were also crispy on the outside while they weren’t covered in grease. My only regret is the number and size of shrimp for the shrimp vermicelli bowl — it came with 4 small shrimp on a skewer, but I would much prefer either bigger shrimp or more of small shrimp. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience at Phở hiho. I left this place with a very happy stomach. Phở hiho, you will see me again soon.

I have dined at Phở HiHo a few times. They have very fast service and the food is usually above average taste and quality. I took my friend and granddaughter for lunch on 4⁄14. My granddaughter had chicken Phở, my friend and I had separate orders of vermicelli salad bowl V10 and an order of fresh rolls. Within 24 hours, my friend and I(we live is separate households and do not normally dine together) had severe lower intestinal symptoms. Over 24 hours we both experienced identical symptoms. I called the restaurant and they sounded moderately concerned but mostly blamed it on us stating we may have had the flu or because we ate cold and hot food together(??? not clear what she meant by that) Because we experienced identical symptoms, I reported the incident to the Snohomish Dept of Health. My granddaughter had no symptoms but she did not eat any of the same food my friend and I had. I don’t think I will be going back to Phở HiHo because of their lack of concern for us. If they had made an effort to mitigate or take responsibility, I might return because I realize anyone can have a bad day in food storage and preparation and I would have considered it a one off thing. I am NOT giving up Phở, however! I love it and it is usually a delicious and healthy meal.

Phở Hiho is our go to place for hot soup on these cold days. We order the Phở Ga from the recommendations of Unilocal reviewers. Minus 1.5 stars for powder Thai ice tea … No bueno… Typically order the BBQ pork fried rice and gyoza. Gyoza tends to be over cooked and rubbery … Suggest another appetizer.

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner, never have had a bad meal or less than stellar service. Every time I am in the area I gotta go by. The Phở Ga is very nicely done and the flavors are perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

So this is only my 3rd time trying Vietnamese food. I’ve come to the realization that Vietnamese is just not one of my favorite types of food. I’m not knocking this restaurant. I just haven’t experienced Vietnamese enough in my life to know whether it’s good or not. I’m an excellent food critic when in comes to Mexican, Greek, German, Sushi or American Cuisine, but not Vietnamese. I will say that the staff was very friendly, and the service was good and fast. I tried the Cha Gio(fried pork rolls) as an appetizer, and Phở Dac Biet(beef combination) as the main course. I have to say, to me it just tastes like grass soup with mystery meat floating in a pile of noodles. The Phở is extremely bland by itself, but I did experiment with all the sauces they had to offer, and I’m still not impressed with Vietnamese food.

After the Phở debacle early in the day down south in Lacey, WA — I was still craving Phở Ga. I consulted with Unilocal and found Phở Hiho. So it was off to Phở Hiho I go. Ordered the Phở Ga — the bowl came out steaming and oh so aromatic! And accompanied by a fresh plate of veggies/aromatics. Tasted the broth before adding the veggies/aromatics — the broth was rich, delicious and smelled amazing! The noodles were perfect — not clumped, and the chicken was very tender. This was some of the best Phở Ga I’ve ever had! And I’ve eaten a lot of Phở Ga! This is now officially in my top five places for Phở Ga! Service was very good, restaurant was clean and modern looking(as far as Phở places go). And so, I must do this(with apologies to linguists and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs). This song comes to us from ancient days of yore and has been passed down through the depths of time… Hiho, Hiho, it’s off for Phở I go To Phở Hiho, to Phở Hiho, I go, I go Hiho, Hiho, Hiho, it’s off for Phở I go We slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp in our Phở the whole bowl through To slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp is what we really like to do It ain’t no trick to get full quick If you slurp slurp slurp with a spoon or a chopstick Make it mine! Make it mine! Make it mine! Make it mine! Where a million jalapenos shine! We slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp from early morn till night We slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp up everything in sight We slurp up noodles by the score A thousand bean sprouts, sometimes more But we don’t know what we dig ‘em for We slurp slurp slurp a-slurp slurp Hiho, Hiho Hiho, Hiho Hiho [Chorus] Hiho, Hiho It’s off for Phở we go [Whistle] Hiho, Hiho, Hiho [Chorus] Hiho, Hiho [Whistle] Hiho, Hiho Hiho, Hiho Hiho, Hiho Hiho…

One Monday, both me and my friend didn’t feel like having lunch at the company cafeteria. Therefore, she recommended Phở Hiho. Phở Hiho is about 5 – 10 mins driving from work in a plaza. There are tons of parking. This place will fill up quickly during lunch hour. If you go there for a quick lunch, be sure to arrive a bit early. Phở Hiho is very clean. Staff is friendly and nice. If you have questions, they will try to explain to you. I had a small phở(everything — all meats) with extra meats. I also ordered one order of fried rolls. The soup was very different from the ones I’ve had. There’s actually good herb smell and flavor in the soup. I finished all the soup and meats. However, I was not about to finish the noodles. The fried rolls were really tasty. If you ask, you can get the fish-sauce dip instead of sweet chill sauce.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. One thing that stands out from other phở joints in the area is that this place is clean. Maybe it’s because the place is new thus everything is new, the ambiance is definitely cleaner than other phở places in Everett. I’ve only tried phở here, so I can’t say for other dishes, but the broth is very flavorful and fresh without overpower sodium taste. The staff is friendly and service is quick. They bring both ice water and hot tea, which I thought was very nice. Price seems a few cents higher than other places, but well worth it. Phở Hiho will be my favorite phở joint in S. Everett area for unforeseeable future.

The owner knows what she is doing; I love people who KNOW and understand how to run a restaurant… very few of them. The Phở here is good and the broth is flavorful. I’m from LA so I’m in a hub of authentic Phở places and can get top of the line Phở anytime I want. This place is in a strip mall in Everett and tastes pretty good. The smell when you walk in is of a good Phở broth, which is a good indicator of things to come. The prices are reasonable, and I got the Phở combo, which was delicious. The broth had great flavors; and the ingredients were good as well. I wish there was more meatballs, but I’m just being picky. Also I like my meat raw when it’s dropped in the broth, but since I’m in WA it might be how they roll, which is fine by me. Their fried rice is also very good; friend of mine ordered some seafood curry one or something, I would order it if I wanted a rice dish. If your looking for a good bowl of Phở in the area; stop by; you won’t be dissapointed. =)

I’ll spare you the«I’m Vietnamese so I know what good phở should taste like» card ;) To each his or her own bowl, love whatever works for you. However, what I will say is that the phở here is damn good — rich fragrant broth with clean, clear flavors; generous amounts of GOOD quality meat + veggies; noodles aren’t over-done and squishy. The phở is admittedly pricier than what I’m used to paying, but I don’t mind paying the extra buck for phở done right. All the other prices on the menu are as expected. Other points of interest are the friendly service and clean, bright interior!
