PODS

The people at Pods were everything I had hoped and expected. They handled all the grief of moving. Seriously, this system has made my relocation to Seattle so much less stressful. They dropped a 16 ft container in my driveway in San Diego and told me to take all the time I needed to get it loaded. 5 days later, I was unpacking right from my driveway taking as much time to unload as I needed. No hassles over getting a Ryder truck unloaded and turned in filled with fuel by the end of the week. If your looking for moving made simple, and don’t want a bunch of strangers digging through you stuff, this is the way to go.

We ordered a 7×7 POD for a move from Wisconsin to Seattle. I was given a quote on the phone about how much it would cost. This quote did not include many of the actual charges and the final bill is several hundred dollars higher than what I was quoted. It says on their website that they will inform you about all city requirements related to delivery. They delivered our POD in Wisconsin and placed it in a spot that violated city code and they had to come and move it and CHARGED us to move it. They had not informed us of the city code requirements and they were the ones that placed the POD in an illegal spot. There have been so many problems with the redelivery of the POD in Seattle it is hard to name them. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with their customer service department. The delivery date keeps changing and although I every time that I call or receive an email I receive different information. Please do not use this company. This has been the absolute worst experience in my life in dealing with a company.
