Wow this Safeway gets a lot of hate on here. I am there 4 – 5 times per week and have never had problems with the staff. Sure you find the occasional tweaker in the parking lot but that is just the area. The store is great and the produce is always fresh

Why on earth would you let your deli workers come in sick?!? Sorry, I usually stop by a couple times a week on the way to work but this was the last straw.

This review is for the Starbucks inside of the Safeway:
I had gotten my drink from another Starbucks and it was made wrong, I was already in the Silver lake area and stopped in this location to remake my drink since that is the Starbucks standard (they will remake your drink if it was made wrong, no matter what location it was made) but I guess this location doesn’t honor this since I was turned away and told I was wrong and they don’t remake drinks from other locations, ended up throwing away my drink and without coffee. lesson learned, I will not be returning to this location and will start tasting my drinks before I leave.

Very rude i went there one day the cashier I remember the name is Nick young kid has no manner whatsoever got at cashier, he just bitter no said anything he just grab your item and scan nothing to say i felt like he doesnt want to be at work, if i were the manager i wont hire person like that, there was the cashier helper samething not offer any help out even after paid my item there is no thank you or any words from them unbelievable, you know what there is alot of people deserve those kind a job than those young kids so ungrateful shame on you
Safeway is good company but alot of them clossing down no wonder they lack on attitude remember you are nothing without customer they pay your rent as matter fact without you realized

First my review is not for this Safeway but the Starbucks inside! First I don’t understand the whole idea of putting a Starbucks inside a Safeway, second why in the world do you only have 1 – 2 people working durning the busy times! If you willing to wait 30 minutes for coffee then this is your place! If you want it fast go somewhere else!

Great Grocery store to visit armed! Seriously, some of the folks out front look dangerous and pan handle a lot. The check out lines are good and long. Not a place to go for a quick stop. I think I should have rated with one star. Go to the Safeway at 41st. instead. Parking lot is backwards as well. I have no idea who came up with the crazy layout.

I frequent this Safeway out of desperation, as it is the closest grocery to my house for last-​minute needs. I only go here when there isn’t enough time to go to a grocer that does not suck. While some of the cashiers are very friendly, I’ve never had an experience that didn’t seem like «canned» customer service. They are all like robots, reciting scripts. It’s so terribly fake and insencere, it makes me quite uncomfortable.
And the store manager? Bob?
Total. Creeper.
If he were to walk by my car on the street, I’d lock my doors instinctively and hide my children. I hide from this guy when I see him in the store. Just today I ducked into the pharmacy privacy area to avoid the creeper.
