It was reassuring to see a big work truck w/​5 mexican-​amigos lined up outside the taco truck when I pulled up. Seemed to scream «AUTHENTIC!»
The tacos were $ 1.25 each and the guy taking my order was friendly and cracking jokes. «Four tacos to go, por favor.» Took about 5 – 10 minutes and I was on my way. Came with a lemon, radish, and slice of jalapeño on the side.
Everything tasted great and I didn’t feel bogged down the rest of the day as some mexican food can make you feel ;) I probably could have had 1 – 2 more tacos as they are pretty small (price makes sense), but they hit the spot and I wasn’t left hungry.
I’ll definitely be back soon!

I think the taco truck has changed or has a different name, but there’s a taco truck there. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
$ 1.50 tamales– wonderful! Chicken is the best.
$ 1.25 tacos– tasty! Not as meaty as Taqueria Primo on Broadway & 16th, but still worth it with the homemade tortillas.
I will be back!

Wonderful taco truck on Broadway that I stumbled upon today. I had two pork tacos and one beef and topped with their homemade red sauce… Absolutely delicious. My mate enjoyed the pork quesadilla and once again another mouthwatering treat. If you are craving home made fresh ingredient Mexican food in a taco truck fashion… Then you must try Taqueria Vargas.
