Started my cover up tattoo with Mike yesterday. I’m loving the way it’s turning out and Mike is very friendly and professional. If you’re in need of a good artist, Mike is definitely the one to see.

Tom is a great guy, full of info and will spend time with you to make sure the tattoo is the one you truly want. This place was recommended by a good friend and had a good experience. We have more ideas and will be coming back to work with Tom.

I have gotten three tattoos at tattoo evolution. The first one i got from an artist that had mutilated my idea. I had gone back to see what they could do and was told they guy was someone that dipped out in the middle of the night. I had my tattoo fixed by a great artist there named Ben Savage. He has since done two more that i absolutely LOVE and has touched up older tattoos that i have had done previously. I constantly get compliments on all my tattoos and hopefully will be getting another at the end of the month.

Top notch, super classy and CLEAN! Tom runs a great place. Good artists on staff with a range of talent! Open floor plan and some private booths as well. Tyler is my personal favorite and is always amazing with his work. Stop in and talk to the guys, make a reservation and put your down payment to hold your appointment! It’s worth it!

I just got my first tattoo at this place 4 days ago, im adding the phoyo on here in second(mariners compass), extraordinary design that blew my mind. Was perfect snd turned out 10x better than I imagined. Planning on going back if I can. I live 1 ½ hours away, makes it hard with my busy schedule. Worth the money also just fyi. Ask for mikey vella!

I have been going to tattoo evolution since i was about 18 and have 10 tats which have been done here. Every one has turned out exactly like i wanted espically the memorial tattoo i just had done for my father. They are in a relatively new location and the shop is extremely clean and well kept. This is somewhere i will always be coming back to.

I don’t know about the rest of this joint, but tattooer Justin Delong is a pro who in my opinion is pretty much the ideal tattooer: Artistic versatility, chops on the gun, and a down-to-earth professional approach to tattooing that combines a perfect balance between his artistic talent with a practical workmanlike approach to the sometimes pretentious or macho bullshit world of tattoo shops. I’ve gotten two big tattoos from Delong, and – though it takes a lot to not want to kill someone who is repeatedly stabbing you and rubbing your skin raw for 7 hours while your arm is twisted behind your back – it’s a testament to Delong’s «chairside manner» that left me walking out of there in a tired but good mood with my favorite tattoos. I get constant complements on these from random strangers. It’s not the reason I got them, but it sure reinforces my impression of money and time well spent. I will be going back for extensive and continued work in the future. If you like actual good tattoos at a fair price, I would recommend you do the same. It’s worth the drive.

I have two tattoos from here, and I guess I just got lucky with the first. Other tattoo artists that have looked at my second one have told me it looks like it was done with a bowed needle — and Tattoo Evolution isn’t even close to these other artists in distance, they have no reason to say that for competitive reasons. In other words it was used so many times previously it’s curved and tore my skin out each time it pulled out. I’ve never been in so much pain in my life, I have a quarter of my right arm done and fell asleep during that 5 hour session at another place, but wanted to scream during this terrible experience at Tattoo Evolution. The tattoo looks like shit, and it did from day 1 it has nothing to do with my care of it. It’s missing shading all over the place, crooked, yuck. Luckily it can be fixed, but needless to say, knowing it was a bowed needle was disgusting. Thank God I didn’t get anything. I have a lot of friends who also have gotten horrible tattoos here. They’re cheap as hell though, but there’s a reason. If you go here for any work, good luck!

Been here two different times for piercings. Both of them were for my daughter. The first one was her navel which wasn’t done deep enough so it looks a little funny and the second one was her nose which was done at a weird angle so some nose rings don’t lay flat. The guy who did them both wasn’t very pleasant and didn’t seem to want to talk much. We only went back a second time because it was a spur of the moment thing, they were open and they had changed locations so we thought maybe they would have a different piercer. I don’t have any idea how good their work is on tattoos but I wouldn’t recommend them for piercing.
