Always friendly! The food is fresh and the restaurant is very cool! They have tables you can actually sit on the floor and also they have doors so you can have privacy.

Sushi was really good and top quality. Service was also good. The waitress was very friendly and once we left everyone working there said goodbye as we left! My only complaint is that it was pretty pricey. Lunch menu definitely cheaper than dinner combos by far… probably worth it but didn’t come prepared for the cost. Will come again when I have money to spare.

I love sushi and this place has a wide variety of it on their menu. The interior is nice, the people are nice… 5⁄5 would recommend!

Wonderful little sushi and teriyaki spot in Everett. Very kind owners and our meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Prices were definitely on par with the quality of food.

I always respect small restaurants serving fresh, good food. Everything was awesome and finger licking good. I would, for sure, recommend their sushi rolls as they were pleasantly flavorful and fresh. Even the miso soups and salads were perfectly delightful without being too salty or drenched in a dressing. You must stop by when you are in the area!

I was really skeptical at first because the reviews weren’t exceptionally high but I was not disappointed. I came with family so we had a bit of everything. We had the sashimi dinner plate(it’s a special) along with a couple rolls and assorted sashimi over rice(like a rice bowl of veggies with spicy sauce and little cubes of sashimi). I really enjoyed the rice bowl. I believe they only serve it during lunch. It was so delicious because there were so many explosion of flavors. I really enjoyed the sashimi pieces. The fish is very fresh. I wouldn’t say the pieces are ginormous but it’s pretty good. My favorite roll was the Boeing 787, so delicious!!! A must try. This place is more on the expensive side because it is sushi with fresh fish. If you’re ever in the area, it’s a nice place to try. The service was excellent and I appreciated the ambiance.

It should be reason to pause, when most reviews are overly enthusiastic(to the point of challenging other Unilocaler’s experiences) or abysimally low. That disparity should at least indicate serious inconsistency. I stopped by with a friend on a Thursday night. ONE table was seated with customers. After what seemed like forever(probably an agonizing 5 minutes), with three employees noting our presence but failing to acknowledge, greet, or seat us, we left. No matter what the food experience may have been, customer service is equally paramount. Toyama, are you listening? Do you care?

I can’t speak to the quality of the food at Toyama because the service was so abysmal we didn’t even get seated. On a Thursday night at 5:00, my friend and I stopped by for an impromptu sushi meal. The number of staff overshadowed the customers and potential customers, as only one table had been seated. We waited for nearly five minutes, and received no greeting or verbal acknowledgement. Two staff members made eye contact with us, and opted to ignore us. Customer service of this sort does not deserve a second chance. Save your time and patronize a restaurant where your presence is both acknowledged and appreciated.

Super delicious sushi! The quality of their food is on point and have a large variety of sushi. Plus the staff is awesome and treat their customers very well.

Among the sushi restaurants in the Mukilteo-Lynnwood-Everett area, this one is the most disappointing I’ve tried. I ordered basic items, fresh water eel nigiri, tuna nigiri, spicy tuna maki, and soft shell crab maki. The spicy tuna roll was ok with decent rice and reasonably spicy chopped tuna. The soft shell crab roll was also ok but not very meaty and unmemorable. The nigiri was inedible. The tuna had a tough texture and something was not right about it The combination of the texture and flavor told me «don’t eat this». Even though I was sitting at the sushi bar, the eel was cold. The sushi chef asked me how it was and I replied that I could not eat the nigiri and explained why. He was embarrassed and polite but confessed that the tuna came from a wholesaler and that it was from«Central Asia» which he made to sound very bad. He offered to remake the eel but I declined. He did not charge me for the nigiri and I paid and left disappointed. One last comment — despite being one of just two parties in the whole restaurant, the chef decided to serve me all of my sushi at once which made me feel rushed and had my small plates spilling out of my dining area in an awkward way. Overall, not a good experience and I won’t return.

Good food but terrible service. They are extremely slow and they we’re barely ½ full. People walked out cause they were sitting for 15minutes before anyone came over and even offered water. They took 35 minutes to bring us water and an hour for our food. Do Not Recommend.

This place was okay. The sushi is different. I ordered a regular California roll and they added this hot sauce to the plate and the lady asked if I liked spicy sushi and to use the sauce. Well no I don’t like spicy sushi, that’s why I ordered the regular roll instead of the spicy one. So I didn’t like how there was hot sauce on the plate. The waiter then told me that the sushi chef did it for design.okay. Weird. The California roll wasn’t even a California roll, it was just crab with a small tiny tiny piece of avocado. The sushi chef seemed to just do what he wanted. Also ordered the chicken teriyaki. It was okay. The bathroom is right in the dining area which I thought was weird. The sushi was over priced. Didn’t get much for your buck. Our server was very nice though. I probably won’t be back.

My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years. The sushi is consistently the most delicious sushi I’ve ever found and the owners have become more like family friends. Our favorites are the Playboy and Playgirl roll and the high quality sashimi. It may be a tad pricey and you do have to practice a little patience sometimes with the time it takes but it’s all worth it for how delicious the food is! So happy Everett has a place like this.

I come here a few times a month, as it is across the street from my house. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautiful to look at. The attention to detail is extremely high, and they clearly care greatly about the food they serve. It’s a small, family-run place, so I assume the service could be slower for bigger groups, but I have never had a single problem here with groups of five or less. Highly recommended!

Where do I start? We had 12 people in our group, reservations were made for 7pm. 2 hours later, no food for most of our table. Understaffed, waiter had a breakdown and cried, and we ended up leaving at about 9:15pm after waiting patiently. What a shame as 2 of us at the table had eaten there before and highly recommended this restaurant. If I could rate this in the negative I absolutely would. In all my years I have never had such horrible service! And they had the audacity to charge us for the drinks we had. Think twice before coming to this restaurant. At least at McDonald’s you’d have fast and friendly service and actually get fed. So disappointed beyond belief. Think twice before coming here.

This is our FAVORITE sushi restaurant in the north end! My husband works in the restaurant biz so he is very picky, he’d rather eat at home. We are never disappointed! The food is fresh & expertly prepared. We frequent here at least once a month.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because service is usually slow no matter what time of day or how busy they are. It is a little mom and pop shop(literally run by a charming husband and wife team). The husband makes the sushi and the wife does everything else most weeknights when I have gone. If you want something with your drink just ask. They have sweet n low or sugar and can give you ice in your water. If you ask for water it’s always warm so make sure to specifically ask for a glass of ice to go with! They serve coke by the can and charge by the can. With the slow service it takes forever to get a refill unless she sees you or you wave her over(when you can find her). All in all I like the place for the traditional Japanese atmosphere and the food has always been delicious when I go. If you are a stickler on service I(which I normally am) wouldn’t suggest stopping in. The food is great and you cant beat the price for the portions you get. The owner loves children. She cant help herself to amuse your little ones, she even gives them toys to play with. So if you find that awkward or annoying I wouldn’t recommend visiting. ***All you can eat is no longer available but they have adjusted their prices for lots of other menu items and you can stuff yourself for less then what the all you can eat price was anyway! Also service has gone up a notch :) They have another waitress for backup /kitchen duty and food is just as delicious! — — — -OLD ALLYOUCANEATREVIEW — — — –N/A NOW — — — - It can be a little pricey but if you are in the mood for the all you can eat it includes a wide variety of sushi, including rolls and sashimi, Tempora, teriyaki, and udon options as well. My main problem with the all you can eat is that I feel like they do take extra time between checking on you because of this. I have gone here plenty of times not for all you can eat and I feel that they are more attentive. I don’t know because if this is the face they want to run down the clock so they can say they are closing or what. If you show up at 8pm you will not be full by 9pm if your ordering all you can eat. So order what you think you will want up front if you are showing up early.
