This place has the friendliest staff of any store I’ve ever been to.
I wasn’t expecting much when I came in here. The outside doesn’t have that curb appeal you’d normally find welcoming but I was in need of something that they had in stock so I moseyed on in.
I was greeted by 3 very nice employees. They were so nice that I think they probably are part owners or something because normal people aren’t that nice to strangers unless they’re getting a cut of the sales or something. at least that’s my impression anyways.
The place was a mixture between organized and disarray. It kind of reminds me of an indoor flea market. or how, back in the day, the old Building #19 off of Lynnway used to be. I liked it in there. I also love their pricing system.

Basically what you see above is how they price their items. When you walk in, they’ll give you a slip of paper with those numbers and letters. Say if an item is 16 dollars… there would be a TR on it because the T is 1 and the R is 6. If there’s a single letter, like for instance… an E, then the price would be an single 5 dollars. I think it’s a neat way to do their pricing.
I liked the place a lot. Kind of dark inside but meh whatever. I’m a child of the night so it’s all good.

Came here right before snowmageddon 2015 and got an outstanding pair of Canadian snow boots!!! Also grabbed some awesome micro fleece thermals for $ 10 a set! Can’t beat that, seriously.

I just a $ 190 pair of Ecco golf shoes for $ 45! The people were extremely helpful and friendly there.

I have been a very happy customer of Zapatos for many years, and finally made it to their new location in Everett. I have bought Ecco and Merrell shoes (seconds, but I can practically never see or feel anything the matter with them) from Zapatos for more than 15 years. And they cost about one-​third as much as the same brands in regular stores. Because the shoes are seconds, the store doesn’t always have all sizes available, but to save this kind of money on extremely high quality shoes is worth the hassle.
The staff is very helpful. The ambiance is discount store, and that is fine with me. The store is well-​organized, with easy parking in their lot. There are plenty of places to sit and try on shoes.
Zapatos has a wide variety of items for women, men, and kids. Did I mention that they also sell socks (and I am a fanatic about high-​quality socks!), work clothes, underwear, T-​shirts, casual sports shirts and sweatshirts and pants, shorts… And fancy high heels and boots, handbags, hats, sunglasses… You get the idea! Check it out!
