Bubba’s Famous Fried Chicken

We order a 16 piece meal and was told it was a 30 min. wait. We waited 45minutes only to be told it would be another 30 minutes and oh yea-«we are out of fries and mac-​n-​cheese you ordered». We promptly asked for a refund and had to wait while the workers figured out how to void the order since the cashier closed out her drawer. Yikes! We will not be back.

Loved it! Everything was really good. I got the 8 piece meal with 2 lg sides… mash potatoes were awesome and mac and cheese was delish! Crispy fried chicken was bomb! Biscuits were soooo good!!! I’ll definitely be back!

I have been going pass this place and finally tried it, very disappointed, chicken was greasy and the look like it had been refried. Biscuits tasted a little half cooked. Two customers there was already complaining about their order being wrong and the chicken under cooked. I will not be eating from there again…

So to my dismay, I only liked the cheesecake and the Famous CHEESESTICKS! The chicken was tasteless (unfortunately) and smelled like grease.

I tried, this place today. The cashier was very kind and pleasant. She said, it would take 15 mins, because they cook the order fresh ok, no problem 35 mins later, I’m still waiting when the cashier says, they’re out if fries and asked what else would I like. It’s a bit pricey, and the kids meal was suppose to be 2 drum sticks but they threw in 1 drum stick & 1 breast. So, 40 mins later I got my food. My husband, enjoyed the chicken po boy but some of the lettuce was wilted. I ordered, the spicy chicken wings but they weren’t spicy and too small. The green beans were really good, the Mac n cheese was just ok, and the corn was just awful and had milk in it. I just haven’t decided whether or not, I will visit again. I do wish, them the best of luck.

This restaurant is new and has been open for maybe about a month their grand opening will be Sat. Jan 23, 2016 and they are giving away a 2 piece chicken with one biscuit and one small side meal all day if you are lucky enough to have a coupon. The staff was super friendly which is good since they just opened, I hope they keep that up and not fall off after about a month or two. The chicken is pretty good they have spicy and mild and I got the mild which to me still had a slight kick to it. My order came with two sides and biscuits I order the green beans which for can green beans they doctored them up pretty well or I should say as best as they could, so they were pretty tasty. I really didn’t care to much for my other side which was Mac and cheese that could have and a little more cheese and flavoring to it. The biscuits in my opinion was horrible they were not cooked all the way and didn’t have any taste at all. Not really sure if they are always like this or if it was just because it was lunchtime and they were a little busy. I did order a waffle on the side which is a little expensive (3.99) for one waffle but I really had a taste for one so I splurged. Not saying happy I did but not saying I hated that I did either it was just a waffle nothing fancy about it. They also have 2 & 3 piece wings that you can order and a waffle comes with it but I did the special 8 pieces so I didn’t want to order some extra chicken just to get the waffle. They also have salads, fish, and chicken sandwiches but I haven’t tried those yet. I would say if you are in the area it is a go to spot it you want some fried chicken and you definitely don’t want to do the other chicken chain locations. It is a different change of pace then going to the old usual, which is good.

The prices were a bit off-​putting but the food is good. The green beans were well-​seasoned with garlic and pepper. They may be too spicy for some. Also, the chicken tenders taste better than Popeye’s but are not as good as Harold’s. The waffle was good but needed more syrup. I especially would have liked syrup for the chicken but alas there did not have any to go packets. Hot sauce is free but their special sauces are an extra charge. I’m not sure if I will go back because of the price. The do have daily specials so I might check out those.

I’ve been here about 5 times, and I must admit the food is good. BUT the service is what killed it for me. The past 3 times I’ve been there they messed up my order and I had to wait for them to remake my food. The last time I went, my receipt was correct in regards to my order. So I went home, I open my food and it’s wrong… Again! So I called and informed them that my order was wrong, they offered to fix it, but I just wanted my money back. I get there and the cashier tries to argue with me, instead of just handing me money back. It’s ridiculous that they have to constantly fix my order?! Like, why? Just get right the first time, it’s not that difficult. Needles to say, I will NOT be returning. I’ve wasted so much time waiting for the wrong order, just to have to wait even longer for them to fix my order. Wasted time is worse than wasted money.

Some of the best Fried Chicken I have ever eaten. The waffle The waffle The waffle oh did I say the The Waffle is unbelievably AWESOME with the Fried Chicken. I ordered to go 8 pieces mixed chicken spicy and mild, waffles, popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, cheese sticks biscuits and it was all great. The chicken was so juicy on the inside yet a perfect crisp on the outside. The mashed had an awesome southern chicken gravy that you dip your biscuit with as well.
The restaurant was clean when I placed my order and had a seating area with a couple of TVs and and music playing in the background.
I will be back to try the chicken tenders and boneless wings and more of the appetizers I didn’t get a chance to try.

I would have taken a picture but we ate everything before I could even think of it. Everything from the greeting as we entered the door to us leaving was wonderful! I am not sure where the previous few reviewers were at but I have a hard time believing it was the same location as I am at as I write this review. The mild chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw was creamy. The corn was not over cooked and was buttery. The customer service was the best! I am from Minnesota and was looking for a place to go again when in Chicago… I have found my new spot that I will be visiting when I come to town. I hope that they will be expanding to Rochester MN soon… I for one will be spreading the word to my Minnesota friends to watch for them to head our way!

If your looking for amazing broasted chicken with a kick Bubba’s is the place to try. They have a great selection of specialty sides and shakes that are worth trying. My family and I are very satistified with the efficiancy and great customer service. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Would definately recommend this place and will be a repeat customer.

You have got to be kidding me!!! This place will not be open very long! What was supposed to be spicy chicken, was at best mild! The chicken tasted like it was fried in very old oil. It had a burnt taste to it. As were the potato wedges. They were’nt even crispy and it tasted like burnt oil! As I looked back in the kitchen, I noticed there were kids working back there. These kids don’t know how to fry chicken!!! I decided to try this place out because it looked new and different. Boy, was I wrong! My friends and I are all foodies, and let me tell you, after the reveiw I gave them, none of them will go there!

Well, where do I begin… We were greeted when we walked in which was a plus. The girl taking our order had to keep asking the man next to her to answer the questions we had about the menu. We ordered quite a bit of food, and was very hungry. The pop machine was out of the majority of the drinks, it was giving out carbonated water, yuck! The manager/​owner asked what was wrong and I told him about the drinks, and he didn’t offer us a can pop, bottled water, or NOTHING…
Now here comes the issues with the food. The chicken seemed like it was cooked in old grease, or was yesterday’s chicken. Also, the potato wedges tasted liked they were microwaved or had been sitting out, and the rolls/​biscuits were hard as rocks. I have never experienced anything like this. The whole meal was a disaster. My family went to bed hungry. Needless to say we won’t be ordering from here again. If I could give ‘0’ stars I would…

Okay where do I start. This chicken spot to me is a «browns chicken» remix (meaning a little classier). The food was alright nothing I would go out of my way to get. My mac n cheese was cold as well as the cheese sticks, the potato wedges are disgusting. The chicken was good and mash potatoes. The sweet buttery rolls were the best thing. Furthermore lower yall GD prices, you have wingstop and popyes on the same strip that have better deals for Basic Chicken like yours.

Had to check it out when I drove by and I wasn’t disappointed. The sides were really good especially the mashed potatoes and gravy. Biscuits were fresh with a sweet taste. Chicken was fresh off the fryer I definitely will be back.

Move over Harold’s. This place has them on notice. Fresh, crispy. delicious. I’ll be back.
