People place phone orders for a reason. Don’t tell me 20 minutes when I call then tell me it’s gonna be 20 minutes once I arrive & pay. The sign says food is cooked when u call. Sauce is added when you arrive & pay. Value your customer’s time.

Needs to do better. We all love Harold’s but this one is very slow. You order the simplest chicken dinner and even if you call it in, you have to wait another 15 – 20 minutes. I don’t understand the point of calling.

I have tried this new ownership twice, i tried the rib tips and links and were not impressed because it did not have a barbeque pit taste, but that is because they do not have one at that location. I will not get barbecue there again, if i want oven ribs i can do that at home for myself. Now this time i called in my order of catfish and perch combo and 7 wing dinner, i was told 15 minutes, i arrived 23 minutes so i knew my food would be at front waiting for me but once i got there and paid for my order with a groupon i had to wait 15 minutes. The customer services were friendly however, she did not explain why my food was not ready. Now, i believe that since I paid with a groupon they gave me refried food, the perch was so overcooked it was not eatable and the chicken was refried also, the coleslaw had some black seeds or something and tasted funny. I wasted my money and groupon and now i will not go back. I am usually positive but i truly believe since i paid with a groupon i did not deserve the best which defeats the purpose of groupons;it is to make the experience one that i would come back and pay full price.

I found out that it was under new ownership since early 2015. Great service and most important, good chicken. Lunch time specials are truly economical!

Here’s the deal; all Harolds are different in what they provide and what they charge for it. Only one of the many has an actual website. If I want to see the specials, I have to drive to one. The idea is to find one to order from that advertizes so that we can enjoy it from home/work/blah, blah, blah. Once there, the wait is rediculous & often, the food is cold & the order is off. As much as I enjoy it when it’s dead on, I’m not sure it’s worth all the struggles we have to go through to get it! I have NOIDEA what they offer unless I go to each one and ask. If I am lucky, they have a menu you can take with you!

Great service, really nice people. The chicken was outstanding, crisp and juicy. Love the mild and hot sauces. We ordered them on the side so it didn’t make the chicken and fries soggy. We will be back for sure.

First order I called in and still waited 20 minutes when I got to the location. Today I called in and was asked to hold. Held for close to 15 minutes before someone decided to give a sh*t & answered the phone. Top notch, great service! At that point, I just wanted to let the employees know I was no longer interested in ordering and the best part is they don’t give a f*ck. Typical attitude of a business doomed to fail. Next time I want to be ignored I’ll eat here. It’s a great spot to order pick up especially if you want to sit on hold for 15 minutes before someone asks to help you. Another great, well managed Harold’s Chicken. I’m so glad they do great business like this in our neighborhood!
