We stumbled upon Flying J Ranch Park while driving around Conifer one late afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide open space and variety of activities available in this park. *Horseback Riding *Hiking *Snow Shoeing *Mountain Biking *Picnics *Great place to let the dog run(my opinion) It has 3 – 4 miles worth of hiking trails and is one of the more flat leveled parks I’ve been to in CO. It’s a family friendly park that could easily be enjoyed by a child or adult. A family picnic would be perfect under one of the many gazebos available. Bathrooms are also available, which is always an added bonus after a long hike. This was a quick initial visit with the hope of returning in the near future when the weather is less wet and there is less of a chance of a muddy dog(white dog and mud don’t mix).
