Our house started smelling smokey. I called our regular chimney sweep twice. He didn’t call back, so I started searching Unilocal and chose Midtown. The reviews were right! Josh was here the next morning and did a great job. Our chimney was indeed full of soot, ash and creosote. He cleaned it out, then carefully cleaned up after himself. Midtown is our new chimney sweep, & we look forward to seeing him again.

I got an appt. for the exact date and time I wanted. Jason arrived a few minutes early. He cleaned and inspected my wood stove insert and chimney. He was efficient and made no mess at all. He was very courteous and friendly, and answered all my questions. I was very impressed and would surely recommend this company.

I am updating my review after speaking with the owner of the business. I received a personalized email addressing my earlier concerns and was asked to call back in. I decided to give Midtown another shot and gave them a call. To my surprise it was the manager that answered on the first ring. After having a pleasant conversation with him, I was offered a discount and decided to book an appointment. I had to wait 2+ weeks but their chimney sweep arrived early (yay!), was clean and professional, and explained the condition of my wood stove to me.

How nice to have a scheduled service as soon as I call! No worrying about leaving a message and scheduling weeks out! This company sure knows how to give friendly customer service. They swept my pellet stove, wood burning insert and dryer vent. Technicians were knowledgable and friendly and they happily answered all my questions. I would highly recommend.
