Took my 3 yr old there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoyed it and got a nice haircut for a cer reasonable price. Will keep coming back!

We have been here twice with our two year old. Each time, she was screaming and fidgeting. Not only were the stylists patient with her, they gave her a fabulous cut every time. They also offer free add-ons such as braids and glitter spray if you want them. This is the only place we will go to get our daughter’s hair cut!

Yeesh, let’s cut Tantrum a break, people. Cutting the hair of a child is an unenviable task. I can barely get my son to sit in his seat long enough to eat a piece of cake(CAKE!) yet the stylist was able to keep him calm and still through his entire haircut. This, alone, merits four stars in my book. Is it the best haircut he’s ever gotten? By default, yes. I’m sure if we looked hard enough, we could find another place that might give a more textbook, stylish cut but let’s be realistic here. My kid is 17-months old. He doesn’t need to look like he just stepped off the red carpet. Heck, most mornings, his hair looks like he was just in a losing tussle with a vacuum cleaner. Tantrum Spa does a good job at a reasonable price($ 12.95 for a child under 4). and the staff is friendly and great with kids. The ambience is perfect, including toy-themed barber chairs. They play family movies on their televisions, have toys to entertain waiting children, and offer a private room for«makeover parties.» It appears that some people hold kid’s stylists to much higher stand than I do but I can confidently say that Tantrum Spa offers a solid value for a respectable haircut while providing plenty of free entertainment for your children in the process. I’m a fan but more importantly, so is my wife.

Will not go back. I have been there twice with my 3 year old. Once for her first haircut and recently for a trim. For her first haircut, I explained that I wanted a clipping and the gal gave me an envelope with what was basically shavings — nothing I could save. The recent haircut was supposed to trim the back and clean it up and it was uneven on the left and right sides and the ends different in length as much as a half an inch in some places. It is more atmosphere than actual skill. I will find another salon for my daughter.

I was disappointed in this place. Don’t get me wrong — it’s clean and cheerful, and the people are nice enough. But I was hoping for better haircuts. My children have wavy hair and it really needs layers. The stylists here seemed to be more of the typical«kids cuts» stripe. I guess you get what you pay for.

Great place for young ones to get a «fun» haircut. Some barbers chairs have been made from little tikes cars and the kids have fun sitting in them watching movies on the TV. Stylists are extremely tolerant and understanding. Great area for kids to play and wait their turn. That being said, I thought for a weekend there would be more than 2 people working in the place and attending to young kids in a more timely manner.
