I have a very rudimentary security and camera system in my house. It does the trick. Combined with the fact that I have nosy neighbors and that we all watch out for each other in my neighborhood, some basic security and cameras makes me feel pretty secure and sure that a burglar won’t target me.
I had an old DVR-​based security camera system with some older cameras. The DVR was dead and I could not figure out what I needed to purchase in order to get it working again. I responded to an ad on Craigs List that Artelisys had posted.
The owner (Billy) contacted me almost immediately. We talked on the phone a bit about my current system and what my goals were. He scheduled an appointment for later that week and arrived on time for his appointment with me. He was very knowledge and spent a lot of time ‘schooling’ me on my options. I was almost afraid that my job would be a bit too small for him given his expertise and experience.
He gave me a couple of options and detailed quotes for each option. All of the quotes were reasonable and I felt like I was informed about what I was buying. I make a selection and he scheduled an install date really quickly.
The installation started on time and went really smoothly. I did not spend nearly what I was expecting to spend and am very happy with the system I purchased. I have some new Hi-​Res cameras and and a cool «Internet-​accessible» security camera system that lets me look in on my house and dogs any time I need.
There service is great and I recommend them for anyone that is looking to get a security camera system. A security camera system will give you some piece of mind and, at least my opinion is, that burglars or vandals will avoid your property if they seem the cameras.
