Garvans Photography

I contacted Garvans for a last minute maternity session. Not only were Gary and Vanessa able to squeeze us in but they are miracle workers! Our photos came out absolutely amazing, an incredible feat considering it was a hot, humid, and miserable day. My husband and I were both drenched in sweat but yet they managed to make us look flawless. Vanessa even helped me to touch up between shots.
They’re so easy to work with and really care bout the quality of their work. We’ve worked with a few professional photographers in the past for our engagement and wedding but Garvans has been the best. Our friends have even commented that our maternity shots are much nicer than our wedding photos and I agree!
I’m so glad we found them and will definitely be recommending and calling them for all of our future needs.

I used Garvan’s Gary and Vanessa G’s services TWICE this year and was pleased both times. The first time, they did outside photography for my family in a setting of our choice (we wanted «beachy“feel with sand and greenery in our photos. The second one was for a child’s graduation party — instead of the typical photo booth that many of the guests experienced at other parties, Garvan’s produced photo booth pics but on instant magnets which can be posted on the kids’ school lockers, on file cabinets and at home. THE GUESTS AND WE LOVED IT! We asked for two hours and then had the option of purchasing the DVD of all the photo shots since the guest of honor did not have the time to be in all the shots and simply wanted to have the shots as copies/​momentos when far away at college missing friends and home.. . :-) The two hours was ample time for guests to get in their poses with current/​humorous props.
The two of them are prompt, courteous, and they dress/​carry themselves as professionals. Always cheerful and quick to return text messages.
BTW, I wanted the option of purchasing the digital photos outright so that I could print my own canvas photos at Costco. Gary made sure he did all the editing of the photos and gave me copies of the signed release form so that if any processing company questioned the professional looking photos I had (Costo did not; Long’s did), then I had the release form ready to show them! I felt it was more freedom on our part to order what we wanted, when we wanted.
I highly recommend them!

We used Garvans for our wedding a few months ago. We first met Gary and Vanessa at a wedding expo. They had a «waterproof album» that had caught my attention.
We hired them for photography services on the day of the wedding and also the day after. They did a wonderful job. They were non-​intrusive and came up with a lot of great suggestions for photo shots. They even stayed later than the agreed time without charging a cent.
The next day we had a photo session at 2 locations. They showed up early and made it a fun day. Their patience and professionalism made everything great.
Later, they sent us a disk with every picture they took. They allowed us to choose the photos for our album. We ended up with the final product, about 2 ½ month later, well ahead of the promised date.
I would definitely use them and recommend them to anyone wanting a photographer.
