The homemade Salted Caramel ice cream alone is worth the trip to Koneheads in Ewing, NJ. But our family is also loves the hand crafted toppings like Guinness syrup and Dulce de Leche.
Koneheads’ approach to sundaes is also original (in their naming and construction):
* Augustus Gloop– chocolate overload
* The Nutcracker– nuts, peanut butter, and nutella
* The Caramel Apple– salted caramel ice cream, Graham cracker crumbs, peanuts, cider syrup
* Oh Cap’n My Cap’n– caramel and Captain Crunch cereal
* The DIY– pick any three toppings
* The Snapback– ginger snaps, caramel popcorn, caramel drizzle
We’ve been working a regular trip to Koneheads into our family schedule. Love their quality and originality.
