The Goddard School

I toured the school with my daughter and Grandson this month. Loved it! Childcare program is well run… kids seemed happy and well cared for. Staff seemed to be well supported, well trained and enjoy their job. Nice mix of structure and free play. Clean, bright, fun and upbeat atmosphere. High tech and efficient too! I was very impressed.

My son has been at Goddard in Ewing since he was an infant. He is now a toddler and overall we are satisfied with the service. It is a safe environment with a buzzer door system that can only be accessed by the staff in charge of the front desk. The teachers are friendly and caring towards the kids. They recently upgraded to an electronic reporting system and parents get daily activity and lesson plan sheets electronically. The tuition is high ($ 350/​week for 5 days about $ 1400/​month) including 2 daily snacks. My son has moved to the toddler room but the tuition has remained the same — which I think is high given he is no longer using a crib and is more independent. They do not publish their rates and it seems taboo to ask about rates. When I’ve asked Stacy, owner, or Lindsey, director, to explain when our tuition will go down — they were not clear and told me it will be reduced when the teach student ratio goes down (they are state regulated and have to follow state regs. on ratios). In speaking with other parents, tuition is not standard and may vary. It seems this practice is unfair (shady) and can cause confusion — especially when paying a mortgage size tuition.

my son just started going here and we love it so far. Miss Debbie is incredible in the infant room. The administration are very friendly, competent and have terrific memories. They make us feel special. Thank you.
