Small town charm, a historic old fashioned mercantile featuring Ace hardware on one end and gourmet kitchen wares in the other end. My family has shopped here for decades and enjoys the charm of a family run store, where gift wrapping is customary for special gifts you buy, and the hardware counter is frequented by all the locals. The Schilling family has run the mercantile for many years, and it opened around 1916 – 17 so it is approaching its 100 year mark! A true gem in the heart of quaint small town Exeter. They support the local boosters, sportsmen, and local causes that make Exeter a great place to live.
