You MUST get the carne ASADA big taco. Homemade corn tortillas are worth the wait and drive.

Good burger and fry joint. Old as heck and building is remodeled recently after original was torn down to make more space. Don’t go at lunch since high schoolers take over the place around 12−1ish.

I ordered a hamburger & it was pretty good but their chili fries & Fritos boat was good at first then nasty after a while. The meat on it was awful and too salty. Other than that it was ok.

Love this place! It’s my family’s go to favorite. The line can get long at times. We usually call ahead of time with our order. Highly-rated

I have been going to Frosty King, aka Jolly Cone, since I can remember. Normally, I always get a pastrami sandwich & their gigantic bag of superb french fry’s, which are always delicious! Today I was craving tacos & the establishment I normally frequent was closed. So tonight I decided to try Frosty King’s tacos, as I have never had them before. I HIGHLY recommended getting the Al Pastor tacos on their HANDMADE tortillas!!! They were exceptional!!! I cannot believe I have been missing out on this taco treasure all this time! So sorry pastrami sandwich, we will meet again I am sure!

Was hungry for a pastrami sandwich on Friday so I took Alex’s advice and came here for one. First time I’ve been here, sort of. Growing up here it was Whiteys Jolly Kone and I hung out here. But I’ve not eaten here for 40 years. So it’s my first time. Damn good pastrami sandwich. The best I’ve ever had. Grilled buttered bun, pastrami grilled so there are little crispy edges, mustard and pickles. And hot as hell peppers on the side. The pastrami was lean and tender, perfectly cooked. Great fries. I went back Saturday with my wife for seconds. I have a new hangout!

You can’t go wrong with their burger and fries. For a real treat order a pastrami sandwich. Deliciousness for those days when you just have to have a burger and fries!

I am going to give this place 5 stars. Not because it’s a 5 star restaurant but because I think it’s the best of what it is… a burger stand. A good old fashion American burger stand. Great burgers, out of this world fries that I can not resist. They also have killer shakes and the classic dipped cones. To make things even better they have mexican food as well that’s pretty darn good. Stop in, you will not regret it. A favorite of mine in Exeter.

Very affordable and comfortable, inviting place to eat. It’s surely the mark of a go-to burger joint in town.

I visit here almost every time I visit family. Their food always fresh and flavorful. Their menu is quite large, offering a little bit of everything. Staff friendly as well. One of our favorites.

Ok, so while I see my Unilocal friends reviewing cool places like Rivoli, Kozy Kar, and Gary Danko, I’m giving you a review and a glimpse into my(another) world. Frosty King is in Tulare County, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. If you love big paintings, you’ll love going by the buildings in the center of town. Someone told me it was noted as one of America’s Prettiest Painted Places… that person also likes alliteration, so maybe the recognition is officially different. This place is good, cheap, and slow(as you would expect in a very, very small town). A ginormous bacon cheeseburger was $ 2.25, and I should have had one of their shakes, but I went with the chocolate dipped soft-serve(which was a ridiculously cheap $ 1.55).

On a drive through California, I stopped by this drive-in for a quick burger and fries. I had the Ranchhand burger combo, which is a two patty burger built on a soft french roll. The patties are the thin factory pressed variety, which I tend not to enjoy, however, the Ranchhand was an enjoyable burger with a good flavor. Definitely a pleasant alternative to a chain fast food joint. The bun was buttered and perfectly toasted on the griddle and the veggies were nice and fresh. The french fries were crispy crinkle cut fries. The burger, fries, and large drink where around $ 6. A little bit of outdoor seating is available with umbrellas for shade. The staff was very friendly and patient with all of my questions.
