This place is absolutely the worse. Would avoid it at all costs. My uncle was moving back to Europe and wanted to buy a couple of unlocked phones to use there. He was told that the IPhone 4 would would work just fine. Well, Verizon uses CDMA and most of world uses GSM, so the cell phones can’t be used. So they shipped them back hoping to get a refund or exchange the phones for something that can be used in Europe. As you might guess, Go Wireless has a no-return policy and would not help at all!(Their suggested that you can use the phone in Europe – roaming that is while being a Verizon costumer… or to sell them on EBay). The manager was unhelpful and rude. It seems they take advantage of the elderly who are not tech savvy. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!

Useless store. What a great location Verizon is just wasting. They had minimal products and nothing I was looking for and instead of figuring out a solution, the kid suggested I go to the mall or Walmart. Wow. I came for a Verizon product, but I guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Turns out, I found the perfect phone accessories at the ATT store a mile away.

On the upside, this is the first time I’ve been to a Verizon store where the kid behind the counter wasn’t visibly annoyed that customers had the nerve to interrupt his texting. He was actually quite helpful when we asked about plans the first time we stopped in. Now the bad — just like every other stand-alone Verizon store, they never have more than one person on duty. It means that even if there’s only one person ahead of you, you have to wait forever to be helped. Today, we had a couple that I will call Sweaty and Camel Toe ahead of us. I felt bad for the kid behind the counter, but they took their sweet time deciding on things that they should have figured out long before they went into the store, even though it was clear that there were others waiting. The sales rep really should have asked them to step aside while they made up their minds, so that others could be waited on. And, like other Verizon stores, you inevitably have at least one self-important and trashy customer who thinks that they should be served before the people who were there first. These stores need some sort of system — numbers, a wait list, etc — in place to put these ill-mannered jerks in check and make them wait their turn. We wound up leaving without our phones and will probably just go up to Best Buy. Upgrading is still a time-consuming pain, but at least they usually have enough help on duty.
