Ruffles Rescue

Ruffles Rescue, and its founder Christina, do an amazing job rescuing and finding forever homes for dogs. I’ve never encountered anyone more willing to sacrifice on behalf of their dogs than Christina and Ruffles does. I say this as someone who has been helped by Ruffles in finding a home for a stray pit bull that is now loved and a part of a great family. But, moreso I say it as a financial supporter of Ruffles and their mission. I would never put good money toward a bad organization, but Ruffles is the best.
Whether you want to help support an organization doing great work for animals, or even for the community at large, or whether you are looking to adopt a dog, you can’t go wrong by working with Ruffles. They will make sure it is the right dog for you and will always put the interests of their dogs and their adopters as their top priority.

We adopted a dog from Ruffles Rescue in Nov 2012. This group, it’s foster parents and it’s founder, Christina Chandler are incredible. Clearly all dogs taken in and adopted out by this group receive exemplary care and enormous amounts of love. Ruffles takes in dogs that are turned away by other rescue groups. They aren’t always the cutest or most «adoptable». They are often broken, sick, malnournished and/​or abused dogs that are close to the end of the road in shelters and with other rescue groups. Christina and her foster homes take these pups in, give them all the medical care they need (often this is quite extensive), give them a warm place to sleep, proper food and much love. The result is happy dogs ready for their forever homes.
Our dog from Ruffles is the sweetest soul I’ve ever known. He has a somewhat unknown background before Ruffles. It’s clear that he was abused and malnourished before Ruffles took him in. Despite that, after about 3 – 4 months with Ruffles, he came out healthy and happy. He is an awesome addition to our fur family. That is a testament to what Ruffles and Christina do.
We continue to provide financial support to Ruffles. It’s the least we can do for an organization which gave us our Beau and helps so many other dogs in desperate need. We are humbled by the work of Ruffles and more specifically Christina. She sacrifices much to do this work. RUFFLES ROCKS!!!
