The turkey bacon and avocado sandwich was pretty good but they charge $ 3 for a small 50 cent bag of plain fritos.

This was terrible. We waited for over 40 minutes for our food. I ordered the prosciutto roma and basil on croissant with the Nico salad. My croissant was stale. I asked for another, the second came only slightly less stale. My prosciutto was sliced but had not been separated and was just thrown on and did not cover the sandwich this too was a bit dryer than it should be. The salad was OK and the iced tea was good. My husband was unimpressed with his Tuna wrap and the greek cucumber salad was not what was expected. The service is slow and it was hot in there. I won’t be returning any time soon.

The Mediterranean pizza was FANTASTIC. Even 2 days later, it heats up well. :) The pizza crust is very good and fluffy. FLUFFY crust means FRESH dough! A happy medium between thin and thick crust. The toppings were perfect. Also ordered the antipasto appetizer. Basically it was sandwich ingredients. Not a fan. Quaint little place, although kinda dirty. The front windows need a good scrubbing and daily maintenance. The air was out and it was a hot day, so not comfortable. I’m giving this 4 stars for EXCELLENT service and great pizza.

Great lunch! I had the turkey pesto swiss with fruit. The cookie was a nice surprise. I will definitely go here again.

This place is great. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. Now, they do take a while to bring out your food, but I don’t care. Everything I’ve ever gotten has been delicious. Try the veggies. They’re so simple, but really tasty. Service is excellent too. I asked about one of their pizzas and after the guy told me the sauce had cheese, I changed my mind. He asked if the cheese was a problem he could make me a new sauce. I told him it was ok, that I could get something else since everything is good here. He insisted it was not a problem and made me a new sauce. Now if that isn’t great service, I don’t know what is. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! Stopped in for breakfast this morning while passing through. Not only was the environment very quaint and cozy, but I was greeted and welcomed with open arms. I’m an over the road truck driver so when I can, I try to experience different restaurants in my travels and I must say that I was very grateful for The Lunch Box, they open early, I believe 7am, they have a great menu selection, I ordered The Oliver breakfast wrap along with the country fried potatoes(absolutely delicious) and bacon with wheat toast! The food was very well prepared and absolutely delicious and very tasteful! Homemade salsa and they even threw in an extra surprise gingerbread treat. I want to thank the gentleman at the front counter for being so hospitable and the gentleman in the back that prepared the food.

I went here in September 2014 with a friend for the first time. I had heard it wasn’t very good from others, so was reluctant to go but it was my friend’s choice. I’m so glad we went. I ordered the whole French dip sandwich thinking I would eat half and save the other half for the next day’s lunch. I really can’t eat a lot but this sandwich was so good I eat the whole thing! My friend had been there several times and said it had always been good. I’m looking forward to eating here again.

Have dined here on two separate occasions and both times were a big disappointment. First time I ordered the oriental salad. It was strangely bland for the type of salad it should be, and pretty pricy. I decided to give this place another try a few weeks later, and ordered the pasta salad for lunch. It too was expensive for pasta salad, but I was hungry and had high hopes that it would be edible. This was not the case! I make pasta salad quite often during the summertime, and it’s pretty simple, however, this establishment has no clue how to cook pasta. The noodles were so overcooked that it was a mushy mess, and it was swimming in what looked like a bottle of Italian dressing, which made it resemble soup. My friend who eats anything without complaint took one bite, made a face and advised me to get my money back. I am giving 2 stars for the friendly service alone, but two bad experiences is quite enough for me.

Finally checked out TheLunch Box in Exeter. It’s really cute inside. They exposed the old brick walls and made it into a comfortable space. I had the French Dip and it was delicious. A really nice place to eat.

Fantastic food, friendly service, great prices on top an adorable atmosphere. It’s just what Exeter has been needing! You’ve got to try their Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and their French Dip Sandwich.

Just went here for the second time with my family. I ordered the oriental salad with avocado instead of chicken. It was delicious and presented beautifully, I couldn’t put my fork down! We also received excellent service, free refills on our tea were offered before needed. My daughter ordered a pizza and it was really good! Needless to say, we will come back.

I have been going to the Lunch Box in Visalia for years. I am happy to see that they opened in Exeter also. One of my favorite places to eat in Exeter. I get the cranberry turkey wrap every time I go.

The margherita pizza is good. The caprese panini is good. The ham and Gruyère panini is super disappointing. Oh, their wine pours are sorely lacking. See pic

The pizza is amazing. They have a home made sauce that they put on it that is excellent! I think this will be our new favorite pizza stop in Exeter.

We had lunch here today. They have made the place really cute, an improvement on Hole in the Wall for sure. There are sandwiches, salads, soups and even specialty lunch/dinner items. There is a selection of soda, tea and beers which are modestly priced for a restaurant. I had a turkey, bacon avocado sandwich on sliced sourdough and it was a large, filling size. The turkey was good, the bacon was a little overcooked for my taste, but still good. The avocado tasted fresh and not out of a big bag like some places. I got a side of fries, which were well seasoned and very tasty. It also came with a pickle and a tiny, cute cookie. We also got a chicken pot pie, which was more like a soup with a pastry crust on top. It looked good, my husband ate it up real quick. You can get various sides, such as fries, chips, salad or fruit. They have dessert, but there wasn’t anything written on the board at the time. The employees were nice and service was quick. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We enjoyed our visit. The only downfall would be the prices. They’re a little high, but not as bad as other places in town and everything is high quality and absolutely delicious. I would say it’s worth the money.

New restaurant just opened a couple weeks ago. Their still training new employees and trying to figure things out yet. Great possibilities though. Salads, sandwiches, and despite their name that implies«lunch» the are also open for dinner. Everyone was very friendly and Edgar to please, and the food was good!
