Derek was supposed to start my deck this summer while I was away on vacation. I came back and nothing was done. After repeated calls and emails went unanswered, he finally called me back and told me he hurt his foot but would start the job after Labor Day. Needless to say, Labor Day came and went and no deck. Again multiple voicemails and emails have gone unreturned. Don’t waste your time with this guy, hire a contractor who works in the business full-​time, not a school teacher who does construction on the side. Lesson learned.
