Went in looking for a gift for a friend that enjoys cigars. I do not smoke and had no idea what would make a good gift. The employee asked a few questions to try to best determine my needs and then made three suggestions. He explained the differences with patience and answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand the details without «talking down» to me. My friend loved the cigars I chose and even found a new favorite in one of them.
Would highly recommend based off of their excellent selection and top notch customer service.

Great place to shop! Been going there about 3 years. Mike and Jeff are very knowledgable and honest. Excellent selection. Always something new. When they know what you like, their guidance is excellent. They don’t push the higher priced products. Sometimes they will suggest a lower priced cigar, that they think you’ll like it. They stand behind their products. Prices are good, often lower than MSRP. Comfortable lounge (free). Best shop in Chester County.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!
I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome. I asked for help to find a «good cigar» and was given the best service.
He helped me find cigars in my price range and that were very great in quality.
I was also shown the lounge area, and told I could come anytime to smoke a cigar and socialize; no VIP membership needed.
This is definitely where I want to get my cigars in the future! And I recommend it to anyone, whether you’re new to cigars or a seasoned cigar lover.

I went to J&M about a year ago for the first time. I have to say every time I have been in there with maybe the exception of 1 time the service has been very friendly. I like the laid back atmosphere of the place and I really like that they don’t Hoover around you in the humidor while you are making your selections like some other shops do, surefire way to make me feel uncomfortable and spend less money.
I like to take my time and walk around and look, it is like my candy store lol! They will answer any questions you have and are very knowledgable. They have a great selection of cigars and their prices are better than the other local shops and their box prices compete with, if not beat the Internet stores!
I highly recommend this shop!

Decent cigar selection dramatically offset by rude, insulting, not-at-all-helpful owner who talks to you like you’re a moron or a second-class citizen. Asked for assistance and he brushed me aside with his hands without request or eye contact. When I got assistance he wasn’t helpful, was incredibly insulting, and only cared about his friends in the shop at the time. It wasn’t until he could tell I was pissed off that he started attempting to treat me the way a new customer deserves to be treated. Can’t believe the other two reviewers’ opinions about service — but to each their own. Not a good way to run a small business, do yourself a favor and go out of your way to shop elsewhere unless you can get what you want without any help from the owner.
