McDonald’s

Yes, I’m biased… I love McDonald’s. But this is a solid location. Clean, quick, and consistent. The staff really seems to care. Nice, modern atmosphere that stands out over other McD’s.
I now avoid McDonald’s locations that aren’t up to my standards. But this location stands out as one of the best in the area. I pass other locations to visit this one.

Why is a newly stamped Unilocal Elite (YAY!) writing a review of a McDonalds? Well, it has nothing to do with the food. In fact, I didn’t even eat there, but I had to stop somewhere to use the bathroom after shopping at Downington Coins and Stamps, so I went here, which is at the intersection of Rte 100 and Swedesford Road.
I’ve never seen a McDonalds quite like it. The first thing I noticed was the walnut-​like finish all over, then the decorative waterfall thingy in the very clean dining area, which had tables and seats and cozy booths that were much more upscale than expected. The bathroom was pretty nice, and the kids play area was the clincher. It was entirely enclosed along with an extra seating area, and featured not only those tube things, but an air hockey table as well. Basically, this place was the most upscale McD’s I’ve ever seen, and considering that they don’t have to bother, I walked away impressed. Maybe I’ll try the food someday, who knows.
