I was beginning to think the area didn’t have a true discount grocer(other than Aldi.) Swanns fits the bill. There were a few really deep discounts when I went. If you know your way around produce and standard pricing you can make out quite well here. The ambience is very grungy and the store pretty haphazardly organiz d. But you won’t care when you see your total. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Another great grocery outlet like Amelia’s. The benefit of this one is it has lots of spices and bulk items as opposed to other outlets having regular packaging. The regular packaged items vary as they do at all discount grocery outlets and you need to mind product dates for freshness. They don’t sell things that are harmful, however six months out of date cereal or crackers can be a bit stale. Otherwise great option to round out shopping list

This is my go to spot for cereal. I buy them like eggs, by the dozen, because they’re cheap. They don’t always have what I want as it changes(probably monthly) but it’s worth taking a look and see what you can find. They have a good variety and the staff is very friendly.
