I have been going to see Lena, Tran and the crew since 2008 now. I have to say that they are so friendly to me when I go being one of the few guys that actually gets pedicures there. They are very thorough, yet not the most extravagant shop around… but they do it right and that makes me happy. I had a nasty fungal infection which took my podiatrist over a year to eradicate. I was instructed to let the professionals do my toe nails, so I do and never looked back. The shop is always clean and they always have time for walk-ins.

I have tried this salon twice. The first time I came 30mins before closing. They were very accommodating, however it came at the expense of my manicure.(the mani and pedi were done by different manicurist). I was in a hurry and given the fact that i HAD come so late, i was not so picky about the«spots» i noticed in my nails. My pedicure was good enough. The«massage» you usually get with a mani/pedi lasted a total of approx. 2mins. total… I decided to give them another chance today… and i wish i could post pictures of my «pedi/mani»…my 7 year old could of done a better job! All of the friends i sent a picture to couldn’t believe i had actually walked out of there with my nails in that condition. I got my cuticles basically painted along with my nail… my toe nails were crooked and half painted! I was so upset about it but did not have the heart to tell them there what a horrible job they did… I called & spoke to the manager. She said she was sorry and i could come back and get it redone. Unfortunately i did not have the time, nor quite honestly did i want to get another bad job! I did go back and asked to have the gel removed and to be refunded. Out of my $ 55 i got back $ 13 because they said they could not pay me for their«services»…at this point, I just wanted out of there because i was flabbergasted at their customer service!.. I WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACEEVER!!!

The place looks like a chop shop inside & they charge $ 55 for a pink & white fill. I asked the woman if she was kidding because I’ve never in all my years of going to nail salons even heard of a full set costing that much, let alone a pink & white fill. The woman was completely serious about that price & tried to justify it because she’d have to trim my nails a little. Of course I said«no thanks!» & got the hell out of there. No wonder the place was dead empty at 4:30 pm on a Thursday when the next salon down the street was packed.

I have two little ones so usually I call to see if they can«fit me in» in the next hour or so. They always are so accomodating, and so friendly. I always get my eyebrow’s waxed and if I have time I get a manicure/pedicure. They do amazing designs, and beautiful flowers. They never push you to do more, and they get me in and out in a hurry. I would recommend everyone to go here!

Well, I have been coming here for some time for some manscaping. Really friendly staff, convenient and reasonably priced. My biggest complaint is the hours that they keep — they open too late and at times I have arrived to find that they are late coming to work.

I have been coming here for 2 years, I always get compliments on my nails from everyone, they only have 1 lady working there doing nails so I get the same wonderful quality work done every time I get there, she does my nails so thin the way I like them, if I choose to get a design she does amazing designs if I just get a fill, she takes her time and does a great job doing my fill as well. I go to a different place for my pedicure but will recommend this place to anyone who wants great quality nails… trust me she listens to everything you want!

Great place to go if your feet don’t need much work(or you’ve had a pedicure recently) or you’re in a hurry. My pedicure from beginning to end lasted 15 minutes. Price was $ 23 and 1 design was $ 3. The design was done really well. They do resell Bath & Body Works stuff there, kinda funny.

After standing for 7 hours straight today I decided to finally treat myself to a Pedi Spa! I am currently in Sacramento visiting with friends and did not want to wait to get home… after standing 7 hours straight on my feet today, I JUSTCOULDN’T wait! Luckily J&J Nails is conveniently located across the street from my friends condo… The salon itself is very clean! The ladies were very courteous and did not force me to add on any other services. Their spa chairs are new with strong and very good massage presets. I am very happy with my pedicure! As we drove to my friends house, I noticed that unlike the Bay Area, there aren’t many competing nail salons here. hence J&J charges a bit more than what I am used too. When a «design» normally costs $ 3.00 in Bay Area Salons, here it costs $ 5. My typical spa pedicure back home costs me $ 16 to $ 18 dollars, here it cost me $ 22.00. And my favorite nail salons give a longer leg massage! I guess that’s the price you pay when there is not much competition. I would give the service and quality 4 stars, but I gave them a 3 for their prices… By the way they RESELL Bath and Body Works products… which I thought was pretty funny… wow is that even legal? It’s the lotions and soaps you usually find when B&BW has their $ 3 and $ 5 dollar sales!
