Live Lashed

Courtney Hocutt is seriously amazing!!! My relationship began with her a few months ago when I got in engaged and wanted to have my makeup done for our engagement photos. We had never met before this, but had spoken over the phone several times and she was great at explaining everything to me and giving me a good idea for my timeline and helping me figure out what look I wanted to achieve. I was instantly impressed with her skills, my makeup looked effortless, natural, and stayed all day. I was hooked, I instantly booked her for my wedding 6 months out.
She also specializes in eye brow waxing, so of course I had to have those done a few times in between. I have very full eye brows and wanted to keep them full but more shapely, she was wonderful at going in and making them more defined and cleaned up, and no pain.
The day of my wedding she showed up to a hotel room that was full of 5 bridesmaids yelling about, a bride, a mother of the bride, an auntie of the bride, and a hair stylist. It was a ton of energy, but of course Courtney comes right in, sets up and begins her magic instantly. I am a huge stickler for time and she helped me with keeping the girls amoving. My amazing mother had an unfortunate fall the night before and ended up getting 3 or 4 stitches on the bridge of her nose, and here is the real key to Courtney’s magic… after Courtney was done with her you couldn’t even tell anything had happened to her nose at all. No retouches in the pictures were necessary, and her makeup looked natural and elegant and not caked on at all!!! Having my Mama feeling super special on her little girls big day was very important to me and Courtney was definitely responsible for that! My makeup looked absolutely flawless!!! She even put fake lashes on so that my eye makeup wouldn’t smear (she had already witnessed a few tears of joy by this point :-D) I loved how she created a sophisticated and classic look that had me all a glow. I felt absolutely gorgeous!!!
Courtney could tell my nerves were starting to rise, and she kept the energy in the room so loving and calm. I will never forget feeling completely taken care of and supported on my wedding day. I received so many compliments by the end of the night that my makeup looked just as perfect at midnight as it did when I first walked down the aisle at 4 pm.
