Wild Bird and Gardens

Decided to stop in and take a look around this store. Everything caught my eye as I came across bird feeders, wind chimes, garden stakes, decorative flags I can keep rambling on. They also have great gifts as coffee cups, earrings, squirrel figurines and the topper they have a variety of seeds! I am so glad we went in there today as my best friend bought a duck house (for nesting) to place near his pond. The guy who was working there was so friendly and helpful. We found a new place to shop at so definitely we will be back. Thank you for the feed he will definitely be using it as my friend lives out in the boonies. If you are looking for a new store to check out please stop in even if you just want to browse around am pretty sure your going to pick up a nifty item.

I have a feeding station for the stray/​street cats in my area – they usually come after dark for food – but lately I’ve noticed some cat food scattered about– so I staked out a spot to see who/​what was doing this. Surprise – mourning doves – it was sad seeing the poor birds going after cat food & of course the water.
So went to WB & to buy seed along w/​a «ground» feeder for the doves. At the check out they asked if this was my 1^st time at their store & I said yes & told them why I was getting the seed, etc. They said 1^st bag complimentary – no charge – to try it out. Wow that was a surprise. This was approx. 2 weeks ago.
The doves enjoyed the seed & I have been back for more – plus also buying the shelled sunflower seeds for a hanging feeder for the song birds – less messy and they do like it. Also give some of this to the doves as they like it too.
So now during the day the birds come for water & seed and the cats come in the evening for the meal – and there is peace in my little animal kingdom.

This store has a very good selection of wild bird feeders, books, wild bird seeds. The staff is friendly and they has lots of other gift items that would be appreciated by your friends or family (if they enjoy bird watching or even feeding your friendly neighborhood squirrel). The staff is knowledgeable a willing to help you with your selections and even carry them to your car (if you need that).

As you would expect from the name of the business they have lots of bird food and feeders and also many items for the garden that are useful or just decorative, among them sculptures, flags, whirligigs, and my favorite, fabulous wind chimes. And they also have unexpected items like lovely earrings.
The store is clean, and the young man working there when I came in was very nice, it was a pleasure to shop here.

This locally owned business is a real gem! Each year I pick a theme and purchase my friends & Families Christams presents with in that theme. This year I choose a Garden theme. I decided to visit the WIld Bird and Garden on Sunrise Blv in Fair Oaks where I purchased all my gifts. The staff was kind, and so knowledgable about all of their items (which was very helpful since I was clueless about bird and garden stuff) The Wild Bird & Garden Staff helped me pick out the coolest gifts ever for everyone on my list! I had a good size purchase of items and needed everything wrapped. They allowed me to leave my purchases there to be wrapped and pick up later that day at my convience! They also sold me a feeder sock filled with seed which now hangs from my porch! I get the privlidge of seeing beautiful Finch birds feeding from the sock! I also get the privlidge of going back and visiting the nice folks at the Wild Bird & Garden when I stop in for new seed for my feeder! I highly recomend the Wild Bird & Garden to everyone!

Very knowledgeable staff and it felt good to support a local business. I contemplated ordering it cheaper online, but after I went in and asked a bunch of questions. They answered every one, gave me a great bird education, and excellent customer service. Very glad to support a local business!!!
