Country Inn & Suites

Booked room in January for Air Force marathon, they over booked, said they notified ppl, but no email was received… attempted to check in, was told room/​reservation was cancelled and sent us 20mi away… not cool

We booked a room here from their website. We choose country inn a lot because they offer package deals for local attractions. We were here to visit the air force museum and they were offering IMAX tickets a tour of air force one. Some other ride tickets for the museum and a large pizza. When we checked in, they had none of our tickets. I had to inform them of what our family package came with. they offered me a $ 25 gift voucher for their establishment. Nowhere near the cost of the tickets. the staff is super friendly. She ordered our large pizza from dominos and delivered it to our room with a plate full of fresh cookies. The room was reasonably priced. The pool and spa are to small for the hotel but we made do. The room was clean and accommodating. It had a microwave and mini fridge. The beds are super firm. Overall I’m happy with this hotel and I will continue to book with country inn.

Overall, I had a really good experience here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed is super comfortable, and I was a big fan of their grab-​and-​go breakfasts in the morning. I did have two issues. I started out in a room on the second floor, and I could hear the person above me walking around all day and it was LOUD. The ceiling would creak and it kept me awake the first night. So I called the front desk and asked if I could move to the top floor. They were very friendly and were able to make the change for me. The other issue is something that can’t really be helped. This hotel is located behind a bar which plays very loud music on the weekends. I was able to sleep with ear plugs, but it’s a shame the hotel can’t work out something with the bar to keep the bass down or something. I’d recommend this hotel… on the top floor… and on the back side of the building.

Location is a bit awkward, in that its at a couple of busy intersections, so walking to any establishments is a bit risky. That said, it was set back off the main roads, so it wasn’t loud.
Room was decent and everything was functional. Could have used some more outlets and conveniences for business travelers but was manageable.
Breakfast was good as long as you stay away from the eggs. not sure how they are cooked, but they are «interesting». Not quite artificial, but not quite real. you will know what I mean when you see them.
Would definitely stay again, if i need to. It was a bit out of my way for where I needed to be in dayton.

Stayed for 4 nights with a team. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and highly accommodating. Decent spread for a continental breakfast; more than your typical bagels and juice. Walking distance to essentials (a sit down restaurant, Meijer and some basic fast food choices.) The pillows suck, so ask for extra. All in all a good choice if in the area!

Clean but has grossly slow internet!

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks few months ago. My room was decent — clean and somewhat updated. If you are in town for business at WPAFB Area B, it’s VERY close — probably a 5 minutes drive to the gate.
