Geno’s Time Out Tavern is 100% a dive bar. If small dive bars are your thing then Geno’s is the place for you. Its located off Colonial Glenn Hwy less than 2 miles away from Wright State University. There is not that much parking, but then again there is not usually a crowd at Geno’s. This bar does not have regular hours and opens at 6pm usually if it is open. It is closed on Mondays. It does open up earlier on weekends, but there is not a set time. Sometimes the bartender Teresa opens the place up early, but do not expect this to open on a regular basis. If the bar is open, the open sign will be lit up and the door may be open. The people that go to Geno’s are very friendly and accepted my roommate and I in as Wednesday night regulars. Even though most of the people in Geno’s are at least 20 years older than me(most are mid 40s), they still know how to have a good time. The prices at Geno’s are amazing, but their selection consists of only domestics. They have cans as well as bottles and the beer is around 2 bucks each. Geno’s does have a small selection of liqueur and their prices for drinks are standard for most bars($ 5-$ 10). You cannot find much food here at all. The most you can buy is a bag of chips, some slim jims or something along the lines of that. I believe that there is Karaōke night on Tuesdays and know for sure that Wednesday nights they have dollar beer night 6−10pm. Teresa the bartender has been trying to have different new events at the bar and they have had one band come and play at the bar. They have a couple TVs and also have a pool table. Come check it out its a good time.

Great dive bar on the side of colonel glenn highway. Prices are pretty reasonable and they have dollar beer nights on Wednesdays.
