Just had house built nearby and ran in to get groceries. When I went to purchase my food cashier John said twice«Are you paying with WIC?» No. Called and spoke to store manager who said he would talk to John and have customers say they have Government assistance before he assumes. Be sure you wear your Sunday’s best before even considering shopping here. Even though it’s close to my house I will never shop at this location again. The one on Dayton Xeina is cleaner, well stocked, and the staff there are professional.

So far, this year(January to July), I have saved $ 251.23 and $ 93.80 in coupons. I currently have 846 fuel points and will be using this to get 80 cents off per gallon the next time I fill up! How do I know this. I use ! Their digital coupons and savings center make this easy! I also get personalized coupons in the mail for things I actually buy — cat and dog food, TP, organic eggs!, produce, meat, etc. Yes, I said coupons for produce and meat! Also, their organic vegetable section is growing and the whole store will be expanding soon. People outside of Ohio are always surprised by the selection here and I am always surprised to walk into other stores and find the lack of organic produce that Kroger has. As for my dairy problem, there are lots of types of dairy free ice cream including some of the newer flavors, lots of Kroger organics that are dairy free, and a lot of the Kroger brands carry items that are dairy free even when the competition is not dairy free! Dairy free Panko and beef broth are just two examples!!! Would be 5 Stars if they expanded their organic sections and included a wider variety of meat and fish.

Good location. Employees very helpful and friendly. Wish they carried turkey wings… The flapper section of the wing… Deli section especially nice… Meat choices very good! Well stocked store… Wished it were open 24hrs… Pharmacy very efficient… Fast… Courteous! Never had anything but a pleasant experience each time I go…

Pretty big Kroger. Had everything I needed to move in to my new place. Also there is a gas station in the front so save up those points! However, the parking lot is pretty confusing and badly designed.

This Kroger is a decent enough place to shop, considering the rather isolated area, if you’re in need of produce, looking for affordable outdoor patio furniture, ample stock of holiday goodies and décor plus organic foods and lifestyle products to name a few. Like others, I have noticed their organization leaves a bit to be desired in that certain items are not intuitively or traditionally placed leaving you walking back and forth along the many many isles searching for something all the while thinking you just didn’t see it when in reality it is in some strange«creative»(wink!) location that leaves you scratching your head and kicking yourself for not just ponying up right away and making the walk of shame to ask someone where it is, and then if you’re me, praying it isn’t right in front of them as you ask receiving a «really?» look from them in amusement of your blindness! I speak from a place of experience on that one, I really do! A smile works wonders! I really enjoy their impressive produce section, and honestly it is the only reason I go to this one due to it’s proximity to home and continual stock of fresh Kale, organic and regular. That is my gold standard! I cannot live without Kale! They have an impressive produce section for one of the smaller stores, and I do use the word«smaller» lightly as it is by no means tiny. They have a well stocked floral department as well, unfortunately their staff in this department always seem distracted and unfriendly. Seriously, I hate to say anything but it is weird how predictable this is and makes me wonder. I’ll keep trying to win them over to the bright side, but so far it has been really odd. Every store has their days, I suppose, as does every person. Overall, this is a nice place to shop, they have a great selection of various and sundry items, and while there are certainly much better Krogers in the Metro(I love Beavercreek’s by Beaver Vu Bowl) this one is perfectly acceptable if you’re short on time, live in the area and need something fast! Or, if you’re crazy for Kale like me and simply must have it(or bust!) they’ll consistently save you from Kale-withdrawl and send you off to health food bliss!

I come here semi-regularly to fill my produce needs since Wright-Patterson’s Commissary has such a terrible produce selection(aka moldy produce) and to get the little things I forget since it is within walking distance from my home. The produce selection really is great– and very reasonably priced :) My only complaint about this place is the terrible layout. Recent example– I came here to get some Cumin the other day, so naturally I go to the Baking aisle. Spices and baking– they seem to go together at every other grocery store. I walk up the baking aisle and can’t find them. Huh, must have past them. I walked back down the aisle, looking more carefully. Still no spices. I check the next aisle. And the next one. A couple more. Nope, not within a 2 aisle radius. Then, I check back down the same baking aisle, just to convince myself that they aren’t there. Where the hell could they be!!! Finally found them in a random aisle with canned goods and health food… wtf? Who organizes this place?! I’ve had this experience multiple times– it’s like they want you to go down every single aisle searching for what you need! Not amused with this– just a fair warning, you may have a hard time finding some of the things you need due to their odd organization.

The boy and I weren’t having much luck on this particular day. The 1st2 places we’d tried to get lunch were closed and the the 1st Kroger we’d gone to had been closed as well. But now that we’d found someplace to eat and were no longer trying to shop on empty bellies, we set ourselves to the task of grocery shopping for the weekend. This seemed like an older Kroger, which whilst there is nothing wrong with that. It was rather cramped and hard to get around with narrow aisles and walkways that were sometimes only big enough for one cart at a time. Things were also laid out a bit strangely and it took us more time than one might think to find hot dogs(surprisingly, set a bit far off from the meat section). They had a decent selection of fresh produce and we were able to find everything we needed there. But the wine selection was a bit peaked and I could have used a bit bigger selection.

Nothing special though, I wish they would remodel it like the one in Kattering. Other then that, normal people. Less wal-mart white trash red necks. People can be slow but they are usually nice. Yet everything is slow in Dayton compare to L.A. At list people are nicer over here & more sincere! Pharmacy is hit & miss, they don’t look too professional to me, just an observation mixed with some intuition. Yalla Bye!
