Links and Kinks is an unassuming bike shop just outside of downtown Fairborn. The owner definitely has a passion for his craft and is very knowledgeable about bicycle repair, restoration, and painting. He takes the time to explain the mechanisms and workings of the problem and offers guidance on how to correct it before he actually fixes the bike, which is nice for clients looking to get a bit more experience in fixing their own bike. He’s also wonderful at powdercoating and custom paint jobs.
In terms of bikes for sale, the stock is always rotating, as people in the area often bring in their bikes, which he then restores, and sells. If you or someone you know is looking for a particular bike, just let the owner know what type/​style and price point and he’ll keep an eye out for you. This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for some cool vintage bicycles. He does have newer bikes in stock and these generally run around market price.
