Stayed two years ago and rated 4 stars. Reason for downgrade, which should be 3.5. Room had a smoker-smell. Also, we left something plugged in our room. When we called to inquiry several times, could not get a call back with any info, not even a, ‘sorry, you didn’t leave anything’. Pool area needs work all though, pool temp is always just right. Front desk & breakfast persons nice, pleasant, professional. Several fast food nearby and NOW a Starbucks.

Decently priced place to stay in the Atlanta suburbs, if your travels take you here. Friendly staff. Although their business center doesn’t open til 9 or 930. When business begins much earlier than that. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

For a hotel with the Windham group, you would expect something decent for $ 90/night. I stayed at this hotel on business and was working incredibly long hours and at night so by the time I came back to the hotel for sleep, I passed out. On my last day, I was more awake than usual and finally noticed the room in all its glory while packing. There was a blood stained bed skirt(how the hell that happens is beyond me), white stains on side of night stand by the bed(EEW!) and white stains on carpet! The furniture was all stained and worse for wear. I was really horrified. I had originally planned on sleeping for a few more hours but literally ran out of the room and checked out. The on duty manager seemed to have little concern but did ask for a copy of photos I took to be texted to her. I will instead email to the company and corp because they need to know the state of this hotel. Very gross.

It is unfortunate that hotels can get such a negative rating because so few people are rating it. The staff was great. The room was clean and spacious. I spend more time in hotels than I like and Wyndham hotels have always been a great choice. This is no exception.

I stay at roughly 20 Wingate hotels a year. I will not stay at this one again. On the surface it seems like any other Wingate. However, as you spend more time there you realize that everything from the beds, room furniture, breakfast and even the toilet paper is done on the cheap. To top it off, when I checked out, I realized that the room rate that I was charged was $ 30 more than the rate I had reserved. When I spoke to the front desk manager, she told me that she could not do anything about it and that only the General Manager could make rate changes and he was not scheduled to be in for two or three days. In the end I got it straightened out be the attitude I got during the process was very frustrating. There is a Country Inn and Suites right across the street — I think I will give it a try the next time I am in town.
