This is a funky spot — definitely worth a stop! When not holding events, Deer Park opens this bar/lounge in the evenings(check sked to be sure it is open). The service and the burgers and the drinks are great. Nice for a post-movie drink or for larger groups since its a big comfy space with lots of room to move around and talk — and park!

A real disappointment. We are long time fans of the original deer park, and were sorry to see it go, but truth be told it had been going down hill for some time. When they reopened as the bootleggers lodge, we were excited to give it a chance, though the menu was not encouraging. Everything on there looks like it could be on the menu at TGI Fridays. Calamari, chicken wings, sliders, French fries. Total garbage, in other words. It’s edible, but about what you’d expect at the airport hotel in Tulsa. The service was also indifferent(sat for 20 minutes without drinks) and the prices haven’t come down. The proprietors were kind with their words and generous with excuses for the restaurants shortcomings, but that doesn’t change the bottom line: we won’t be back. One star for still having a lovely, romantic setting, and one more for having a liquor license. That’s about all they currently have to offer. Avoid.

Hooray it’s open! I was so sad when I heard the restaurant was closing… Their write-up sums it up: Critics be damned! :)
